    #23772392 - 10/26/16 05:57 AM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Fuck me, it waa 3 week ago, there was nothing written on the bag as dangereous or anything. It was from a big factory. Nobody knew what it was there, i grabbed it cause its my job .I remember having my throat atching a bit after that. Now yesterday i go read about it and im like hell nah, FUCK.

At least its the amorphous type but still i breathed a couple cloud from moving the bag that was partially open.

Gonna go see a doc, fuck i hate my job sometimes

I hope you are symptom free my man. It's funny how small incidents can impact our consciousness and make us worry about things. A lot of things are out of our control past a certain point. I hope you are able to find peace about it until you get some clarity from a medical professional.

In the short term, I hope you take good care of your vessel so the bodies natural ability to detoxify you can be effective.

Just a thought to keep in mind: "who can stop what must arrive?"

silica's not so bad. I know dry wallers who have been breathing that shit for 30 years. Sounds like you really didnt breath in much. You should see what some of the general labour guys in my city breath in. I've see these guys standing around in thick clouds of metallic dust, aersol sprays, they've been doing that daily for decades...

Yeah I was cutting some industrial fiberglass plates with a skil saw, didn't realize I was standing in a cloud of fine dust until someone turned on an exhaust fan and screamed that it smells like I am smoking crack  made quite a mess but luckily I had the good sense to put on my squints and tie a t-shirt over my nose and mouth, which really only goes to show that I knew I was taking a risk but didn't care to think through the risks involved and how I could aviod it.

 I thought it was just like cutting smelly wood.  How was I to know it turns into microscopic glass fibers, plus I like to live dangerously baby.
