waiting for my girlfriend to come on over, bringing her dog to chill with mine for a bit. Will probably also get stoned as per usual.
been drawing too much, going a bit mental, looking forward to graduation in May

About to start working on sketching again, have had to put it off for a few months as my musical work takes a lot of focus without the added burden. Really want to get back to it again

I've been wanting to learn to draw/sketch recently. I have a very specific image in mind that I want to immortalize but I dont know the first thing about it :/
I'll just stick to music, which I'm at least okay at

I'm not very skilled in visual arts, just do it because I can, some of it does come out well in a minimalist fashion
Definitely think its worth the time regardless

It's 6:10 am here and I should be in bed. Thank fuck I don't start work until tomorrow evening. Made the mistake of sampling a little meth that I got for a rave this weekend. Obviously, partnerless as I now am, I ended up jacking off for a good three hours.

watching showdown in little tokyo and baked as shit.
Never really found the appeal in jerking off while tweaking. Having sex is one thing but listening to music, toking and reading is pretty much what I do on amphetamines. It just feels like I could be doing so much more while high haha.

No of course not. I'm far too respectable to be caught at an event like that. No, I'll be attending a classical music event, drinking flutes of champagne and eating canape's, in order to rub shoulders with the movers and shakers in this city.
Seriously though, of my hundreds of raves, I've never been to a techno one. Well, not an organised one, squat parties were generally techno but I was generally too trashed on K to properly appreciate the music. I hear very good things about the venue and artists mind you. Will report back after.

I was just talking shite. Koods knows what I'm on about. He's jelly, you see. I think Mr Mackey might need to get in touch with the jelly school for him.

Did you ever get into hardcore? Hardcore is my favorite genre of dance music, and am curious if you were able to see any of the legends in the scene like Dougal, Gammer, Hixxy, Styles, Sy, Slipmatt, Vibes. The whole thing started in the UK, so that's right up your alley. The years it was considered the most lovey dovey were 95-99, then it transformed into a different sound, not as fluffy and cartoon like, but what is called hardcore euphoria by many.
I am listening to this at the moment.

I went to see Brahms a couple of years back and this older dude in a suit gave me this whole snobby "I'm too good to be in your presence" attitude and stalked away. Was probably high and wearing jeans or something.
Its funny because that guy probably doesn't even play classical music, and most of the renown composers were impoverished drunks.

I did, but only for a couple of months. I came on the scene when its popularity had died off somewhat, and Jungle was all the rage.
It's actually one of the very few genres I can't listen to now, along with death metal. The BPM is way too fast for me. I dunno how people dance to it.
But then, I have no idea how people dance to Dubstep either. I've been to a dubstep rave, and all my D&B style dancing over hundreds of hours of my life couldn't save me from looking like an idiot. Amazing to watch though. You ever raved to Hardcore?
It's one thing I'm gonna miss badly when I leave London - the dance music scene here has gotta be one of the best in the world. My fav venue when I was younger used to do a lot of hardcore raves. The sanctuary was fucking legendary:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctuary_Music_Arena
And they just closed Fabric! I dunno, TPTB are fuckers when it comes to giving ravers a safe space.

I plan on looking for a cheap single-room occupancy pad at first so I can find some temp work & hopefully set up a consistent source of income, that way I'll have somewhere warm to stay over the winter and a means of saving some cash
Once the worst of winter passes and it warms up a bit I'm gonna start backpacking around CO and practicing the art of bushcraft, we should definitely meet up at some point if you do decide to go out there, I'd be interested in doing a musical collaboration at some point too, I'd like to set up a semi-professional sound studio so I can start writing, producing and recording music, I have a fuckton of ideas as far as that goes

Sounds good man, I'm down to hangout, that's what I'm here for. We'll have to see about collaboration, that's always hit or miss ime, kind of like sexual chemistry
