Which spawn should I test next?
    #23769576 - 10/25/16 10:35 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

So I ordered new spawn from my vendor, all came on seeds. And I don't know which one to try first.
I will be using the TGF Tek. I am lightly testing each type, mostly growth and speed.

I have 5 sets of spawn in total, 2 warm, 3 cold. The warmer ones to yield.
The cold ones, I intend to experiment with indoor fruiting.

Pleurotus citrinopileatus (Golden oyster) | Warm.
Agrocybe aegerita (Black Poplar) | Cold-Cool.
Pleurotus eryngii (King oyster) | Cold-Cool.
Pleurotus djamor (Pink oyster) | Warm.
Pholiota nameko (Nameko) | Cold.

So which one to try first?

I think you should start with the King, obviously he deserves it.

King oyster did very well on my pine tests. Not that I'm testing pine anymore.
Golden oyster flopped on pine, but all oysters eat tea and flour.

So Golden and King are a bit out and tested.

Black poplar it is then, lets see if I can manage indoor fruiting.
Otherwise I can put them outside, perfect temperature.
