Cobweb mold or Mycelium? * 1
    #23768887 - 10/25/16 02:57 AM (7 years, 3 months ago)

So, I have been fruiting two of these cakes for about a week and I placed 3 others in about 4 days ago. I was checking the pins this morning when I noticed that the bottoms of all the cakes have a thin, wispy, white growth on the bottom.

Is this mycelium or is it mold? It just smells like mushroom though.

Awesomeness. Thanks.

Does the mycelium at the bottom of the cake usually go wispy?

The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

Cobweb mold is really obvious, it looks Halloween-ish, if ya know what I mean. Spooky even.

Thats mycelium on the bottom, looks like fluffy cotton. Nothin to worry bout.

Thanks for the answers guys. I really appreciate it. Lays my worries to rest.

Amidogen, you weren't unnecessarily being a dick. I've been really busy today, worried, and I didn't have time to read up. I also thought that each case would be unique. But thanks for the links.
