Habitat: Wooded area in ballard neighborhood of seattle. lots of underbrush, grown covered in leaves, very wet.
Gills: gills looked like the same color as stem to me. i am very new to this, hopefully the picture shows the gills.
Stem:
Cap: wavy cap, brownish
Spore print color:currently in progress
Bruising: i think its bluish green bruising
I thought these looked like maybe wavy caps?

Is it really obvious that you had fun? It looks like you took it seriously, and that that's why you succeeded. But I know you had fun..I love it too! One lookalike you should be wary of is Galerina. It can make you ill, etc. Here's a pic of one from the other day...I'd never seen one look so close.

haha, i meant is it obvious that it is Psilocybe cyanescens. of course i did some research before i went hunting i read up on galerina, and found some info that suggested galerina could be mixed in with the wavy caps, so naturally, being new, i want to be cautious. Your picture of galerina is a little worrying cause it does look very similar, most of the picture i found of galerina online were not so similar. Thank you for the help

Just luck i believe, wasn't even looking for them when i found them. Went out today, was tramping around for 5 hours, didnt find any until the last 30 minutes, in a grassy area on the walk home. im too new to this to no the best spots to look or know old patches so mostly its time and luck right now.
