They are already dried mushrooms. Not sure if they can still be identified.

Found in the balkans.
Let me know if you need better pics.

Yes please take more pictures with the fungi against a different backdrop away from the foil for greater contrast. Also give us as much info as possible like what environment they were found, were they growing from dung, smell and anything else that you can think of.

They smell kind of bad/dry, can't really put my finger on what they smell like. Possibly smell like the last time I got mushrooms which was over a year ago.

You bought these from someone else? It's really hard borderline impossible to safely identify dried mushrooms and yours look fairly mature on top of that. If they were bought from a friend or dealer what information did they give you on them.

If I had to guess which this is not to say these are safe to eat my guess would be along the lines of old dried Panaeolus Cinctulus. Maybe someone else will shed some light. Until then give us as much info as you can on these.

Had a few friends vouch for them and I bought them.
Found in a mountainous area in the balkans, I believe they are supposed to be psilocybe serbica.

Ok well p. Serbia is definitely a species that grows in your area. I don't think that anyone will be able to 100% identify these. If it were me I would pass on them to be on the safe side. Really wish I could help you further buddy but idk enough about that species.
See if you can give those back and get him to trade you some fresh specimens that can be safely identified for no extra charge. Better yet get into cultivating your own! It's very easy and inexpensive and pays off three times more!

All good homie, thanks for the help.
I'd definitely like to cultivate my own at some point but I don't have an indoor area where I can grow them atm.

Yeah....unless you have a microscope and some spores those are toast on identification. They don't look like they were dried all that well either. What has me concerned is that serbica I am sure has a hyrgophanous cap and should have a more cream colored cap when dried. Anyway, if your friends ate the same mushrooms and tripped, I have little room for argument.

I wasn't directly told by the source that they are Serbica, so that could be wrong...
You have no idea what they could possibly be?
Thanks for trying to help anyway.

I wish I had but all I can say for sure is that they appear to be a dark spored little brown mushroom. If you could take very good pictures in good, even lighting we might be able to say more but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Gymnopilus sp. Panaeolus cinctulus Psilocybe serbica Psilocybe semilanceata Psilocybe cyanescens Psilocybe bohemica
These are the mushrooms listed to be found in my area.. Do any of these have the characteristics that you mentioned?

Cinctulus dry really black like the mushrooms you have. They aren't semilanceata, nor Gymnopilus, nor cyanescens. If you have your heart set on tripping on mushrooms, my advice to you is to confirm with your friends that they are the same mushrooms that they took and tripped off of. Your chances of those being poisonous are very low....but there is always that chance. And like someone else said, your pictures leave something to be desired.

Do you know what Cinctulus smells like? I can't exactly explain what the shrooms I have smell like.

There's no way anyone could tell what your mushrooms are, just by looking at pictures.
You'll have to post pictures of fresh ones. Making assumptions about their original spore color by looking at darkened, dried specimens is a dubious practice at best.
So you should throw'em out and get out hunting again. Bring a camera.
