Bulk tray questions

So it's day 4 after transferring spawn to bulk and incubating, at this point should I add my top casing layer? I've heard cubes don't need it but am wondering if that is the general consensus or not. If so should I use straight verm or 50/50 with coco coir? Thank you!

whatever you want don't case case with verm or case with some mix of coir and verm or even case with just coir
I would pick the easiest one since you don't know which to choose IE don't case

do two cased, two not cased. See how those genetics do with both.

Okay. Thanks guys. I got 6 trays so maybe try the 50/50 with 2, none with 2, and 2 straight verm? Unless someone has experience with this already..

Do the trays look to be where they should be 4 days into incubation?

what does our experience relate to your situation. most of us have done it all different kinds of ways to find out which way we like.
they don't need incubation during colonization, just let them colonize. at room temperature 65-75F

I would guess the experience would give you a general idea of which works best. Peace brother man!

I would worry more about maximizing the simple ways before worrying about complicating things.
it's not about which works better it's about which works for you best.
what works for me may not work for you
what works for me is not worrying about adding extra needless shit to my grows and just making simple coir verm and spawn do this

the magic ingredient is your skill, not if you put some casing on your grow or not. if a casing meant better grows every time then we would all be casing our cubensis grows.

Well said. Thanks again. I have no skill yet, still clueless at best, but I'll learn! The journey is half the fun right?

exactly, that's why you shouldn't be so concerned about having someone else tell you exactly what to do.
