Benton County Excursion

Met up with some local Shroomerites yesterday and had a little mushroom adventure.  Found some neat stuff and a few edibles, all in all a good time.  Thanks Maynard, NomadBard, and Viridis420!  Maybe you all will end up near Central Oregon and we can slay some Matsutake before the new year.

Things of interest:
Lepiota flammeotincta This guy stained fiercely and rapidly, leaving red stain on Maynard's fingers.  Nice find, Maynard

Ramaria araiospora var. rubella  These were very bright red and mostly covered by the thick duff.

Gomphus clavatus  Pig's Ear, a first find for me.

LimacellaSomething close to Limacella glischra group perhaps.

Limacella, similar to Limacella delicata var. glioderma

Gliophorus psittacinus group  The only photo of a truly weird and gorgeous mushroom.  This was so snotty that it stuck and left hangers...was a good laugh!  My hubs calls me Mrs. Dirty Jeans for two reasons, one of which is evident here

Lepiota atrodisca group

Tricholoma sejunctum

Ramaria

Another Ramaria species

Hopefully Maynard will add his awesome penis Bolete.  :hehehe:

Cool Limacella.  Would love to see one of those in person.

You going to eat the G. clavatus?
