Howdy.
In the few years I've been posting here I've seen threads for actives and threads for edibles, but no threads for poisonous/deadly mushrooms. A lot of them are really gorgeous and it's worth having a place to post them. Please post pictures of your poisonous finds, let's have some fun!

Cool thread man Does this guy count?
Conocybe filaris, one of my favorite deadlies, from Northern Alaska: (I like the way Conocybe filaris rolls off the toungue, it sounds like a foreign debt collector you don't wanna mess with. Don't care much for the new name so I'll use that til someone scolds me)
Edit: actually, I think it is Conocybe vexans

Neat! Sure does count. Every time I'm out fishing I let parents know their child is playing with a deadly poisonous rough-skinned newt.

That's good. I used to play with them in our pond all the time when I was young, from the age of 3, didn't always wash my hands after, and you know how little kids are always touching their faces. I never got sick but probably got lucky there. never wore gloves. Used to catch a shit load of them along the coast and bring them back to the valley and release them into ponds that were overrun with bullfrogs. Id like to imagine I put a dent in the growth rate of those fuckers, it's too bad bullfrogs like contaminated waste ponds and radioactive drainage ditches because they taste pretty good. I bet someone could farm them with minimal effort. I've always wondered if those Newts and similar species have any medicinal applications or substances

Cool idea!
Took a little adventure with a few local shroomery members yesterday, fun times, great group! Here's my deadly, lovely, edible contribution.
Also - bonus internet fame and coolness points to anyone who can say what is edible and what is deadly in this photo.
