That's my next intention is to just grow really cool and interesting varieties of mushrooms. As for the cubes I just wanted to atleast say I was able to do it/ thought it would be a really cool experience and thus far it has been :smile:

I asked my wife if she would be alright with me growing different varieties Like you mentioned , and she said she was cool with it, just no more cubes after this time lol .

Out of curiosity , what would happen if you inoculated the same cake with two different varieties of mushrooms? For instance TC and PE? Would one of the mycelliums fight the other to take over the cake or would both myc form into one and produce both species ? Or would they cross? Just curious that's all :smile:

Haha that's awesome lions mane is what I was going to mention in my last post , it looks sweet that's the one I may attemp first :smile: .

I've never eaten real mushrooms other than cubes , as I'm a very picky eater,  always have been .. But I think if I were to grow my own I'd actually try them for the first time.

I ate a box of exotic mushrooms from my local supermarket recently. I was so happy I could identify a few of them some oysters and others I cant remember now bit inoculated myself (vodka). Beautiful really wanna get going on edi's got some oysters on the go started last week.
