I live in the Pacific Northwest? Southern British Columbia to be exact. All these mushrooms were picked in my back forest. Varying from in the grass to dead tree mulch or leaves. My buddy and I picked them today, nothing that we picked seemed to bruise blue when pinched. From all the reading we've done we can't seem to confirm if any actual contain psylocibin. Everything we've read says they grow every where like crazy but we can't seem to have any luck please help us in identifying what we've picked and in giving any info you can on how to find what we are looking for
Cheers

Im going out on a limb here but I wonder if you might have some Bogbodia there. Otherwise, Hypholoma, maybe Stropharia/Leratiomyces, Mycena.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Probably Bogbodia is not reasonable, I suppose I'm just looking for zebras again.

So nothing with active psylocibin? I don't understand why I'm having so much trouble finding the right ones...

Your looking in the wrong spot for starters. You wont really find them in the woods. You should be visiting public landscaped areas that use wood chips. Think about spots like parks, playgrounds, shopping centers, hospitals, retirement homes, outdoor malls ect. And even then, it often takes days of hunting before you find that first patch. Don't get discouraged though, the hunt can be fun itself.
