They have the means to make it healthier without sacrificing taste.

Not really, every time I try diet soda it is horrible. If people want a healthy drink they can buy that, if they want a sugary drink than that should be available too.
Should candy bars, cookies, and ice cream be made healthier or just soda?

Yes all of them have the money to fund their own r&d and come up with better solutions yet they dont.

Most all people that drink it know its bad for them. I have a pepsi with my lunch and I know it's bad for me, but I like it. I also eat cake and ice cream everyday and sugary breakfast bars too.
They already have a pepsi with 0 sugar. People that want 20g of sugar could just mix it into pepsi 0. Or drink tea, coffee, juice, kombucha, sparkling water...
I don't think the Government should tax sugar either. They have enough tax money and they can't even spend that properly

liberals... think about it, a criminal goes out and commits a crime and liberals say that he is a product of society, when he tries to kill a cop then the cop is a murderer that acted as judge, jury and executioner against an innocent man simply because that cop defended himself, if a civilian defends himself against a criminal then he too is a criminal and he should have just called the cops instead. children can no longer defend themselves against bullies in school, those that do defend themselves against bullies end up suspended and expelled but then they go on their rants about how bullying is wrong and still punish the victims of bullying
when it comes to the foods we eat it's no different than illicit drugs, liberals say they want legal drugs an shit but they are eager to vite to restrict what we can and cannot consume, they want cigarettes banned because they're harmful and kids could get them, they want vape liquids banned because it could lead to smoking and the flavors are supposedly marketed to kids. they want to ban soft drinks, salt, sugars of all kinds and then they still want to convince us that they want drugs to be legal, in reality, they want everything for themselves while denying it to everyone else, this includes rights such as free speech and freedom of religion and no matter what, everything is someone elses fault.
so there you have it, liberals are the problem, they're why there is no personal responsibility

Their market is also not health conscious people.
Yeah, but he does have a point. McDonald's and soda sales and shit are at an all-time low than they were compared to before. Probably in 50 more years, these products will be obsolete. They should really consider completely rebranding and changing their formula for food and drinks in order to fit with the times.
Seriously, if McDonald's could find a way to make delicious, healthy fast food and make it available at a super cheap price, people would be lining up for their $4 salmon and quinoa bowls.
Honestly, I crave those juice smoothies way more than I do soda. Nothing feels more refreshing than a fruit smoothie, especially in the summertime.

How is it delusional? Only a billionaire conglomerate like McDonald's could make that price point come true. There are fast food type restaurants nowadays serving this kind of food, but because these restaurants are smaller, they charge a minimum of $7-$10 a plate.
If McDonald's did this type of food on the global scale, they could purchase food in bulk enough quantities to get the price point down really low, and sell it for $4 a plate and still make as much of a profit as they did with their $1 cheeseburgers.

That... is also true. Probably not a good idea then, until sustainable farming goes into effect for seafood. They should figure out a way to farm all seafood to combat the overfishing problem.

no they wouldn't, huge tracts of land would be flooded and converted into salmon farms and salmon would become one of the most numerous animals on the planet

Yeah, and when a conglomerate like that backs that sort of project, you know the USDA will become involved and will start subsidizing these products, and eventually salmon will become the cheapest food available out there, like the chicken of the sea.

Swaths of ancient forests will be cleared in Canada to make way for salmon farming. The Canadians would be slowly driven out of their homelands.

Totally agree. People act as if they don't carry any responsibilities for themselves.
