is poly fill ok to use in agar jar lid?
    #23761161 - 10/22/16 02:44 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Ok so I am going to do a no pour agar. I am using wide mouth half pint jars. Hey they were only $9 for 12 and can use them for cakes to test isolations down the road when I get real peetri dishes. Any ways to make sure there is air exchange for the mycelium growing on agar would it be ok to use some poly fill in lid or should I leave the band loose on the lid instead?

drill an 1/4 inch hole and stuff it in tight. It should be hard to move.
