Bolete species need ID
    #23760246 - 10/22/16 08:26 AM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Hey shroomery I found quite a few boletes growing in a pine forest after the last rain I was hoping to get an ID on them, I believe they are edible because the spores are brown and they do not stain/bruise blue.

This is from the first patch I found:

And later I found another patch, in this patch I found 2 specimens that bruised blue but the one double stemmed specimen didn't bruise blue. I wasn't able to get a slide of its spores prepared unfortunately.

The first one is a Leccinum species.

Maybe Chalciporus for the last.
