Just found these and I am wondering if anyone knows what these are. I'm from the PNW.

Or as pointed out in another thread, this one may now be under "Parasola".

i.e. Parasola conopilus.

Not active, though.

Or it could be Psathyrella corrugis.

In any case, it's Psathyrella or close. Not active.

Not Parasola with that veil and probably not Psathyrella corrugis which is a nightmare of a species concept with numerous lookalikes. Its either Psathyrella or maybe something like Coprinopsis marcescibilis.

Hah, these guys are all a nightmare. The most common mushroom coming up around here at the moment is one I (and not a few field guides i know) once would have called Psathyrella gracilis. Danged if I know what 3 or so species I would call it these days :P

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was more like 6-12 species, but even that is a guess...
