Hi everyone, im hoping you can help identify these growing in my allotment. Heres what ive learned about them: Blue bruising Dark purple forked spore print Growing on rotting pine bark mulch Some have small nipple, some have been eaten off by slugs/woodlice No sign of a frill around stems Hollow, fibrous stem Slightly slimy on the can I live in the uk Before the pine bark went down there was remains of hay that had contained rabbit poo The mushrooms are growing on the sides of my mulch paths but are in clusters under and around my fruit bushes Any help would be appreciated thanks

There is no blue bruising in these mushrooms, nor would there be. Observation is key here and accurate descriptions help avoid mistakes.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

There was definate Blue bruising on these ones. The top left mushroom i pinched and it did turn a Dark Blue colour within a few seconds.
Notice the Dark spots on the ones above, when I looked closely and tapped some they we're bruising blue, the stems bruised very faint blue but the caps bruised a lot darker

As mentioned above, your mushrooms are Psathyrella or Parasola, and none of them are psychoactive. The "bruising" is likely to be spore deposits, which are of a dark purplish to black color.

There have been some "shocking" revisions in the Psathyrella genus as of late, with transfers to genera like Homophron and Kauffmania, among others.
