Whoa, nasty 3rd flush pins, not porn 1

So I'm a lazy fuck and I have put off dumping these two tubs. The third was hit with the trich and was tossed shortly after. I've been watching these two for signs of trich or green but all I'm seeing is this thick white fuzz that's covered the surface. I've seen this in many other tubs in the later flushes and was curious as to what it is. Any who, after the second flush, I shut the room down, turning the light and fan off. I was planning on dumping the subs last week until I saw these pins pushing up. What do you think?

It looks like mycelium that isn't getting enough fresh air. Try misting the surface a bit and giving a lot of FAE. It looks decently healthy, it may flush again.

Uggh, sadly, I wish this were true. I believe it is some sort of mold that has taken over the surface of the sub. The pins look fairly healthy though. I've all but given up on these tubs and was planning on tossing them because of the white fuzz. I think the sub underneath may still be healthy enough for a 3rd flush, but the mold is covering so much surface area, the pins have a hard time finding a clear enough spot to produce a fruit strong enough to fight off whatever it is that's taken over.
The top holes only have one layer micropore tape covering only half the hole. Bottom holes have two layers on the bottom and one layer on top.

These things just don't give up, I'm still amazed watching them grow after I've all but given up on these tubs.
I took the advice and misted the surface. I hope you're right that it's mycelium. I don't have the trained eye so I don't know the difference until it's obvious.
Thanks for the replies.

It's honestly looks fine. I didn't see why you were worried.
But those fruits around the edge of the sub does tell you something. You may have a moisture issue with your sub.
Once you pick those, I would personally dunk that sub. It's probably running out of water to work with.

Environmental reaction. The worst kind too. Both low Fae and not enough moisture on the surface.

Awesome. I'll dunk the sub after I pluck the fruits and turn the fan back on in the room and start misting again. This is my first run at 66q mono.
Thanks for the advice!

The fruits don't look like the FAE is low. Caps are decently developed and while there is a bit of fuzz, the stipes are still meaty not lanky. It does look dry but the myc isn't dead yet. To be honest it looks like a neglected 3rd flush tub. A dunk would probably perk it right back up. Do up the bottom hole tape as well, I think you might be getting too much FAE especially with the top holes only half taped.

Sweet! Going to do a dunk in the morning, the rest of the fruits will be ready soon. Replaced the second top layer on the bottom holes.
I can't say thank you enough for all the help and support from the Shroomery.

I was doing the same thing picking those monsters. Yielded another 39.89g with that picture, plus another 15.** from that huge one and a few others that were plucked and dried the day before. So far 2 ounces have come out of this third flush, with still more to come.

The remaining fruits finally tore their veils.
I don't have access to an outdoor hose or anything, so I had to improvise. I was hesitant to stick the tub in the tub but I've got plans tonight and wanted to dunk these tubs simultaneously, so the tub will have to do for these tubs.

Glad you guys talked me into keeping these tubs around, I get to experience a fourth flush for the first time. Got some monsters coming in on these subs that were dunked for about 6 hours. Lightly misting twice a day.
Anymore advice is greatly appreciated.
