Any idea what these are?
    #23757833 - 10/21/16 11:54 AM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
Nutrient rich soil, grows in the woods and was under pine mulch.

Gills:
Attached, some shorter in between.

Stem:
About 1 inch on some up to 2 1\2 inch on others. The mushroom itself is thick and sturdy, not flimsey at all.  The stem is thick but its hollow in the middle with thick outer layer.

Cap:
Cap is sturdy, like a bell shape very defined on the younger ones, on the mature ones cap is rounder and sometimes wavey.  Color is a mix of lightish brown, to purpleish, greyish blue. Not bruising blue but just an off new.

Spore print color: still very wet from rain. Haven't got 1 yet. I'll keep trying.

Bruising:
No noticeable bruising.

Other information:
Normally I wouldn't look twice, but the off color and pure quantity of these in my woods has me curious.

I was thinking they may be faery rings but they are not growing in rings, but instead giant clusters. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Edited more pics.

Thank you very much.  I found out what they are thanks to you.  They are indeed Tricholoma, Tricholoma terreum to be exact. Thank you for the help.

Upon further inspection they may also be Pluteus salicinus an active psilocybe. Let me know what you think.

No, since this species grows directly off of wood.

Other than that the general appearance is wrong, but I'm not able to give much more of a technical explanation.
