The Meyers Briggs personality inventory is flawed and not a good measurement of personality.

Even though peoples' results tend to change throughout their lives, the tests are very useful as a tool to describe someone's behavior, and what their response to a given situation is likely to be. :strokebeard:

Even if I had a predictor of someone's behavior, I have no idea how that would help me.

If I know my intern gets mad every time I ask them to get their job done, how does that help me?

In the case of Myers Briggs, knowing how someone tends to behave can be helpful for interacting with them.

Someone who is more T (Thinking)-oriented, for example, will be better swayed by logic than emotion in a debate- and vice-versa for someone who is an F (Feeling) type. A more "T" individual is also much more likely to tolerate having fun poked at them, or more insensitive jokes.

It's just a good reference to have about how to interact with someone.
