It's like Reefer Madness on the Shroomery.
I know it doesn't seem like a lot, I'm trying to see it from the view of the general public. And most people I know who carry ounces are selling, that includes ex-medical folks who were always just trying to make a buck, simple as that.
I feel like I live in a world that is the exact opposite of Reefer Madness. People emphasis the beneficial aspects of cannabis and don't use it respectfully or acknowledge it's adverse effects at all.

You can because you have a medical card.
An ounce lasts most people a long time, but not everyone.

I was of the understanding that ibuprofen was first derived from a jungle vine. Do you know which one. Why not.

Origins in nature?
I'm not trying to fill Wikipedia with anecdotal reports or anything, but in an episode of this nature show I watch sometimes the narrator described some kind of jungle vine in which ibuprofen is isolated from. I noticed nothing is said about it in the article. Does anyone on here know about this vine? If so, how does it compete with synthetic ibuprofen as a main source of the drug?--Metalhead94 T C 16:53, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Even though the jungle can make you sick it can also help you if you know what to look for. Bear, like all successful people, does not give up even when he is ill.
Instead, he remembered a milk tree - nature's milk of magnesia - which he had passed half a mile back. He climbed back up the waterfall.
Nearly half the medicines we use were developed from rain forest plants. The pain killer Ibuprofen was synthesised from a vine called the monkey ladder tree.
Bear found the milk tree and sucked out the milky sap which would settle his stomach. Normally, milky sap is a sign of danger but not in this case.
He headed back down the stream and his appetite started to return. He cut down a palm sapling and ate some heart of palm. The centre is white and sweet and tastes a bit like asparagus.
"You can almost taste the nutrition in this."

The point is that a universal remedy is not being cultivated in every kitchen garden, but can be found in countless state-sanctioned outlets.
All of the most-notorious plants, including sugar and tobacco, have been used as cure-alls.
Can you supply yourself, realistically.
I bet, if they could, the state would keep you perfectly ignorant, dependent, rather than teaching you how make these useful things, in the public schools, just the same as tying your shoes and brushing your teeth.
