The reason they can treat depression is because depression is just a thought. If you train your self to think negatively all the time then ofc you will only have negative thought loops. In the western culture in particular its common to renenforce the idea to each other which makes it more real and they believe in it. Its very simple. The mushroom or any drug or shock to the system zaps the mind out of the depressive thought loops that you chose to create. Its simply a case of taking control again and reprogramming your own mind. Meditation is the key. We are all connected.
The mushroom is a "shock therapy" of sorts for people with no time for meditation and thus no understanding of the self. People could stop disempowering theirselves and choose to be happy. Go outside and sing your heart out to the neighbourhood. Your favourite song. No holds barred. Then come back inside and tell me if you are depressed? That is freedom. The exact opposite thing.
I want people to realise that everybody holds a belief system. If that system isn't working for you then choose to let it go.

The western way of thinking is to train the self with self - obsession. This creates an imaginary "me" outside of yourself. A "policeman" "villan" "doctor" a "druggy" , "man", "women", "life", "death", "devil" "angel", a "good guy" a "bad guy". Its all the same delusion. I've equipping people with the ability to realise they can choose to turn this off and when you do you can create bliss. Heaven on Earth. A Paradise. These positive thopughts directly effects others, just as the unenlightened current negative ones are.
Everyone must struggle with the demon and angel complex. It is part of being human. This journey is one of realisation and acceptance. No one needs to be afraid of the imagination or afraid of the self. Theres is nothing to fear but fear itself.
99% of people in that delusion will only talk about the "me" and its imaginary good or bad points and try to defend it. It is the ego. An imagination. A belief system. A delusion to control the masses the same way any religion, family, teachor or government does. By shaming and reward. I cannot be shamed or rewarded. I create reward now here. It is my "me". Just happyness.
If this "me" idea people are manufacturing is an unhappy one then something must be wrong. It was for "me" lol that "me" doesn't exist anymore I don't believe in it.
What is the real me? This is what we must face. First look inwards then you can truely see to look outwards.
All these things are methods to release attatchment to self. Sleep, birth, death, meditation, drugs, a system shock, music. All paths to self, the one. For many it happens when their father dies (note mine isn't dead yet). We are all one.
You will have to laugh and cry to get through this experience, its normal. Thats the ego breaking down as you deconstruct the false belief system and allow yourself to have the faith and trust that you are naturally a good person and do not need to be caged by a belief system any more to do create right or wrong. I want teachers to see what they are actually doing to their self. We all the owners of and thus responsible for this planet. Any negative belief system is a cancer that is growing. Get rid of all belief systems.
It is time to heal. Time to evolve. Realise what you are. realise the story of life. know thy self.

Pleasure or pain is a switch in the head that can be turned on or off with thought and that thought switch is belief.
People are going around selling this but it isn't good to do this more than you need here to exist.
