You can probably find liberty caps and cyanescens this time of year in your location, posts like this are looked down upon and against the rules though. Get out there and look!

I assume the original post was deleted because the OP was asking about specific spots or whatever?
For what its worth - I'm not an experienced hunter really, and I'm a newbie to this forum although I've been lurking for a while. Specifically I've been waiting to see an "official" thread for the 2016 Liberty Cap season here. There hasn't been one yet, and I'm taking that as a sign that the Irish season just hasn't kicked off yet?
I'm down in Cork, and I've found exactly one. This was way, way out west on one of the peninsulas. I've trolled a "known" location just outside the city a few times but found nothing. A friend reported seeing half a dozen in another location outside the city. In summary it all seems very, very quiet out there.
I'm planning a hunt this weekend further afield so fingers crossed.

here is the thread
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

You can start an Official Ireland thread with a pic of your recent find or your friend's, or any you see in the coming days.
