P. subaeruginosa
    #23756201 - 10/20/16 09:16 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Habitat:
Patches of grass with mulch

Gills:
Cream colored. See pictures

Stem:
Hollow, thin, about 1" length

Cap:
about 1" diameter, see pictures

Spore print color:
taking spore print now will post tomorrow.

Bruising:
Bruises blueish/greenish tint

I have been researching and I am down to thinking these are indeed subs.. Or are they azurescens? or cyanescens? Definitely some sort of psilocybe..
Anyways I would love some IDs to not poison myself. They are definitely bruising blue, brown caps, hollow white stem.

What do you guys think?

What country were these found in?
Psilocybe subaeruginosa is an Australasian species which is quite common in New Zealand and Australia, it generally fruits between the months of April-August but could possibly fruit a bit later in the season especially in favourable microclimates and depending on environmental factors.

found in the Pacific Northwest, USA. Thats why I thought they could be azurescens or cyanescens

Damn, they can't be P. subaeruginosa then.
Like inski says, subs are only in Australia and NZ, but they are extremely damn marcoscopically alike.

Perhaps a flatter pheno of P. cyanescens because the pins are shaped wavy?

They are cyanescens in my opinion

I'm going with cyans too. Subs would usually have a more prominent nipple to show and less cap curve
