Trays in monotub and SGFC not showing any love

Hey Everyone,
I need some help. I have three trays going right now but the growth has been minimal to none. All three trays incubated for almost 20 days. After hearing most people say it takes around 10. I decided to fruit the trays. The trays uncased look the same as the day I fruited them until today. I left two trays uncased and one tray cased. They have been in the FC for almost 2 weeks, maybe a little longer. The substrate is mushroom compost spawned with rye.
I also think the tray in the SGFC might be starting to contam . This is my first Monotub. I have been successful with pf. Anyone help would be greatly appreciated!
Here is the tray in the SGFC that is starting to discolor.

Here is a close up of the same tray as above.

And here is the monotub

Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't see any moisture glistening on the surface of either. No evaporation = no shrooms. The one in the sgfc is showing a number of knots.... keep waiting and make sure the surface has moisture.

No problem... is the tray elevated off the perlite? If not, your blocking all the convection from the perlite.

I have it raised with jars lids. Do the trays look like they are colonized enough? It seems like most of the trays/monos I have seen are more consolidated. I figured 20+ days was enough. Maybe just the substrate I used?

You gotta remember that a lot of these guys are using isolates and their myc is aggressive. Mushies have a mind of their own. They will start when they want to. Best thing to do is make sure the environment you've provided enables evaporation and FAE.

mushroom compost is made from already spent mushroom substrate. while it is good for plants it is mostly devoid of the nutritional building blocks that mushrooms require. if some mushrooms do wind up growing in it there probably won't be many if any at all.
