The US doesn't really have a press anymore. We just have a big propaganda bureau. Nowadays with the overt legalization of domestic propaganda in the NDAA and the super concentration of the corporate media strangling the truth there is really no media or free press to speak of. Fortunatly we can still get some truth from whats popped up online as the alt media because people don't want propaganda, they want honest information.

Yes I agree, age of both parents is a significant factor for autism. Apparently if you're in your 40's, you have a 1 out of 40 chance to have a baby that has either Down's Syndrome or autism. When you're in your 20's, that chance is like 1 out of every 10,000 or something.

Anti-vaxxers keep citing that one study using Amish people. Well no shit Amish people don't have autism, they all get married and pop out babies by the time they're 16-21!

you believe that a court actually knows enough about medicine to make any actual

The fact that there is some doctor out there who believes that vaccines cause cancer doesn't surprise me, nor sway my opinion one bit. There are doctors out there that believe all sorts of things that the scientific community rejects.

There are doctors out there that still believe in leech therapy, that sunscreen is what causes skin cancer and not UV, that climate change is not real. This whole "autism-vaccine" connection started with a doctor who ended up getting his medical license stripped and taken away for conducting bogus and fraudulent studies for the purpose of profit.

2. Various oils including Freund’s emulsified oil, mineral oil, emulsified peanut oil (adjuvant 65), and squalene (shark oil),
3. Bacterial products including Bordettella pertussis (whooping cough), Mycobacterium (tuberculosis), cholera toxin, and others. [31]  Adjuvants in various vaccines are listed on vaccine package inserts. [32]

Second, koods and I were discussing vaccines causing autism, of which you have yet to establish that any of these chemicals listed above cause. It's one thing entirely to say that vaccines contain chemicals that may be harmful, or need more experimentation, and that is a statement that a lot of people would agree with. It's another thing entirely to say that these are causing autism specifically, a disease that isn't even really known at this point what causes it specifically or how it happens neurologically.

Lastly, one of the people that you listed, Russell Blayblock, has some questionable views, that even you must admit are rather peculiar. The swine flu vaccine is more dangerous than actually contracting the swine flu? lol wut?

Quote:

Blaylock has endorsed views inconsistent with the scientific consensus, including that food additives such as aspartame and monosodium glutamate (MSG) are excitotoxic in normal doses and that the H1N1 influenza (swine flu) vaccine carries more risk than swine flu itself.[2][3][4]

Quote:

"The federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, better known as "vaccine court," has just awarded millions of dollars to two children with autism for "pain and suffering" and lifelong care of their injuries, which together could cost tens of millions of dollars...

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kirby/post2468343_b_2468343.html

Just FYI, seizures ARE a known and listed side effect of vaccines, along with many other medications. It's very rare, but it does happen. And if the seizures are severe enough, it can cause mental retardation. In your article it mentions that these children developed seizures, fevers, and other reactions that do happen in vaccines (and even the drug manufacturers admit these listed side effects). So, that could be very well the reason that they were awarded money... was for their seizures that ended up causing brain damage.

Quote:

Meanwhile, parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors of both children testified they were developmentally normal, if not advanced for their age when they developed seizures, spiking fevers and other adverse reactions to their vaccines. According to these eyewitnesses, the children never fully recovered, and instead began losing vocabulary, eye contact and interest in others around them, all classic symptoms of regressive autism.

I don't know what all this crap about autism and vaccines is. I grew up in the 60's and everyone was vaccinated for polio and the others...we all had scabs that left a scar to confirm that you had the vaccine. I knew of zero of my friends or anybody at school that exhibited any of the signs of autism...ADHD hadn't even been invented yet, although, I am a believer in that one.

I remember one of my friends father had polio and he died a really screwed up death in a wheelchair. I do agree that the autism spectrum thing is real...but, I just don't see it coming from the vaccines. Another thing to note is that tylenol was not around when I was young...people took aspirin for pain...I am hearing some bad things about tylenol...maybe a correlation there?

Bottom line is ...something is causing a huge increase in autism spectrum and everything needs to be looked at to figure this out.

jill stein is one of those anti-vax, anti-GMO doctards

just because someone has a degree, even in a science field, it doesnt mean they dont
buy into conspiracy theories and other horse shit, the thing is, if vaccines caused
autism then why isnt the majority of the population autistic? and based on the
numbers of diagnosed cases of autism, even if it were 1 in 1000, it sure seems
better than spending your life in a breathing machine or dying a prolonged, painful
death from a disease that's easily preventable

but hey, let the retards be retards, if a parent refuses to vaccinate then they
should be responsible not just for the harm that comes to their child but also to
others that they child comes in contact with

Do you realize what a ridiculous statement that is? You refuse to believe in something as silly as the scientific community, even though the very thing you need to establish evidence to believe in or debunk something is: SCIENCE.

Jesus Christ, if it weren't for the "scientific occult," we wouldn't have treatment for HIV, we wouldn't have fast improvements in cardiac surgery or stroke therapy, we wouldn't have organ transplants or birth control or X-rays. Funny how you refuse to believe the shit the "scientific community" churns out while at the same time taking for granted all the achievements that they have made, without even realizing that without them, we would basically be stuck in the Dark Ages.

Yeah, instead you should listen to these holistic gurus who are essentially profiting and making millions off their books and products by scaring parents and chums like you. I guarantee you that disgraced doctors such as Andrew Wakefield make far more money pioneering their opinions than the average clinic doctor that dispenses vaccines.

There is also plenty of evidence that parental age is linked to autism, and unlike any of the studies you purported, this one used a very large sample size, with over 5 million subjects to be exact:

"Autism risk associated with parental age and with increasing difference in age between the parents" http://www.nature.com/mp/journal/v21/n5/full/mp201570a.html

It doesn't make sense does it, a lot of our parents were vaccinated, yet children didn't start developing autism until the late 90's to early 2000's. Perhaps it's the simple fact that diagnosing methods have improved tremendously in recent years.

In past decades, doctors simply diagnosed autistic children as "retarded," or if they were mildly autistic, they were written off as "quirky" or "eccentric." Rates of autism may have increased simply because methods of diagnosing patients have improved.

Lastly, if vaccines WERE the cause of autism, then wouldn't the only children with autism be children who have been vaccinated? Yet, there are plenty and plenty of cases of autism among children who have never been vaccinated. The mere fact that autism exists even among the unvaccinated, shows us that vaccines clearly cannot be the cause.

Emtricitabine and tenofovir (Truvada) $1,309-$1,411 No generic available.

The average price of HIV meds is 500$ to 3K+... Maybe it is expensive to make or something but clearly profits matter most to many of these people.

It's ironic that you are delegitimizing judges as having no authority on vaccines because they have no degrees yet the same institution that bestows those degrees you also delegitimize.

And that makes perfect sense, check this graph out, the rates of mental retardation are decreasing at the same rates that autism is going up. This seems to suggest that it is merely a classification difference.

The point is science is often only concerned with profits not actual effective treatments and or helping people.

It is very evident in the amount of medications that are rushed into the market with side effect lists the size of short novels...

I love science but it is too easily and often corrupted yet people like to pretend it is some sort of infallible end all gamechanger.

Does the price somehow negate the fucking science behind it? Does it somehow mean that it's a bullshit treatment that makes it any less effective?

All you have proven is that medicine is a for-profit industry. Which uhhh yeah, no shit sherlock, anybody who's been to the doctor in the states can tell you that.

No generics are available at this point, clearly, because they are brand-name pharmaceuticals on a patent that is set to expire in about 15 years. HIV treatment is still relatively new, and something that has only been invented a few years ago.  Once the patent expires, generics will be widespread and readily available.
