    #2375462 - 02/25/04 03:59 AM (14 years, 2 months ago)

ok ... i dont know if this setup wiil be ideal.... if you think not then let me know....

basically im just going to put in an area (north facing) and line it with gravel... or lime chip..(depending on budget...)

ok , this pic shows about 1/2 of the pots destined for the area.....

ok , in this pic you can see the area to be worked....

the left pole (left end of the passion fruit) to the pole with the orange bricks stacked by it... total area 35-40 m2....

ill try to keep this updated so people can see how it goes...

cheers all...

edit: fixed that broken picture --neuro

thanks neuro....

Agarico....  the area you see is over a huge sump, so i'm  taking the hill away and building a containment wall out of poles laid flat. im thinking of making the walls about 350mm high... the sump cap will leak water out of the pit very quickly (its 2m diameter and 10 m deep....) im currently thinking of putting 350mm of broken up roofing tiles in the hole and then sinking the pots into the broken tiles... sitting the rim flush or maybe slightly above tile level..... i want it to be something of a show type garden so i want to be able to shift the pots easily.... (moving height and species etc.)

 re reading the first post does show its a little strangley worded....

" time is a drug.... too much will kill you"

......Ballad of Atoning Unifex.....

he realised
he'd never ride
through london
in a black cab
with weird drugs
in his veins......
