So M_H would you be offended if I disagreed with you?
From what I understand about this plant is that it's pretty widely mislabeled as what you said
but it is in fact just Cereus tetragonus

A tetragonus is really good grafting stock according to kada
but this is what it looks like from my understanding

I only "know" this because after reading kadas guide on grafting stock I wanted to acquire A tetragonus
and couldn't imagine the fairy castle was any good for grafting

Ha no I am not easily offended, and pedantry serves a use

Cactiguide has these listed for synonyms:
Cactus tetragonus, Cereus tetragonus, Cactus pentagonus, Cereus pentagonus, Acanthocereus pentagonus, Cereus acutangulus, Acanthocereus acutangulus, Cereus princeps, Acanthocereus princeps, Cereus variabilis, Acanthocereus floridanus

The genus isn't one I really desire to learn about and fathom to any great degree though
