That wasn't a main point I was making, but there was a craigslist ad offering to pay "seat-fillers" at an event for Hillary, so her campaign must be looking for ways to make it appear that she's got more support than she really does, which makes me believe there's a chance that her poll numbers could be faked as well. I don't think it's too far fetched.

if the clinton campaign was dictating poll results to the media that is controlled by and in the bag for hillary/dems, they wouldn't have her winning.

they'd have her losing in order to energize the base.

That makes no sense. What are her supporters gonna do if they see her losing? Vote for her twice? The way I see it is an attempt to discourage her opposition from voting against her by trying to make them lose hope in Trump winning. That is, if that's even what's happening to begin with. I don't know. All I know is her whole campaign is sketchy as fuck.

FBI agents, 'Comey obstructed the investigation', about to speak out? This is interesting times we live in. http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/17/exclusive-fbi-agents-say-comey-stood-in-the-way-of-clinton-email-investigation/

Except.. that we are actually going to vote for Jill Stein, write in Bernie Sanders, or zappaisgod. https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/5423#efmAshA2F

The Democratic party have found (another) way to denigrate millennials by saying they missed out on the lesson of Gore and Nader. They, the so-called smart people, are the ones who learned nothing from Gore and Nader. Because more Democrats in Florida voted for Bush than Nader. The real issue was that, after choosing a moderate or conservative running mate, that Gore failed to energize the Democratic electorate.

it makes perfect sense because the american electorate skews democrat as shown by party affiliation polling.

if the D campaign makes people think it's a horserace--and my opinion is that it will always be portrayed that way in these modern times--then they needn't fear the low turnout which is a vector for a trump win.  in fact, that looks to be the only way for a trump win short of a more significant october surprise.  (that phrase is wearing thin, isn't it?).

additionally, if she is portrayed as trailing then you can bet you'll see more snailmail, teevee ads, phone calls, social media ads, people knocking on doors, etc. initiated by the D campaign.

Like I said, I can't be sure. Neither of us have any proof of what we're thinking. I stand by my statement that Hillary and her campaign are super shady though. And yeah, I'm still waitin on that October Surprise too, but apparently Assange's internet access has been shut down now. One shady coincidence after another.

How Trump can score points tonight -- by exposing that Clinton is a very flawed, corrupt candidate.

Lol, gotta love all the "she seemed so presidential" comments that seem to imply that it is some kind of redemption for who she really is and what's she's done off the stage. "She might make us go to war over some dumb shit that she pretty much brought on herself...but it's ok, she seems presidential"

I thought Hillary had NO answer for 1) The leaked e-mails that link her campaign and the Obama Team to inciting violence in Trump rallies and 2) The corruption of the Clinton foundation.

Trump's worse point is he comes across as having personality problems, which he does.

Hillary played hard for the left base.

Trump both attacked, but sounded very much like he was playing hard for the very conservative base.

When Hillary was showing visible anger, Trump should have shut up and let her vent.

Hillary's main defense for her weak points was to deflect as she did several times, or roll out the 'sob stories' about a poor little mexican girl in Timbuktu, etc. She also had a real problem with the Open Borders issue.

In the end, it doesn't matter.  All the media is going to do for the next 20 days is TRUMP WON'T ACCEPT THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTION and TRUMP IS A GROPER.....any Hillary deficiencies will be met with fingers in the ears and screaming I can't hear you.

Ah, Trump supporters.  Does it bother you that your base is so stupid?  Buying what has been fact-checked at 92% false?  You guys honestly don't seem that dumb, but you have to admit that the base is pretty fucking stupid.

Y'all are sore losers, anyway.  Trump can't win.  When Utah isn't red anymore you know something is wrong somewhere.

It's bad enough that we have rampant government corruption (so rampant, in fact, that's it's become the new normal). But we now have a totally corrupt populous. If it weren't for that, this government corruption would be a pretty simple fix.

By any objective measure, corruption in the United States isn't nearly as bad as 90% of the rest of the world, but I am intrigued about your remarks about a corrupt populace. I'd agree that society has plenty of faults and is deathly sick in many ways and I'm curious about in what way the American populace is "corrupt".

@Utah; no candidate getting 270 would be crazy, but I think McMullen's chances have been hyped up

By corrupt populace I mean that there's millions of people who are just as corrupt as the corrupt government officials...only difference is they don't wield power, they just willingly elect like-minded representatives to wield that power. And that explains why when corruption is exposed with indisputable evidence, they don't seem to mind and/or even recognize it's significance.

I like how he points out that everything she's done has been absolutely terrible. Why anybody would want MORE of something so atrocious is beyond me. We spent $6 trillion in the middle east and ISIS has gotten much stronger and is in 30+ countries. That sounds like a complete and utter failure to me. Sounds like the kind of shit that would have a major impact on an economy, particularly when you take into account what that money COULD have accomplished domestically. If the decision was made to spend this money abroad in the middle east, it had better have had a positive effect. Unfortunately, the situation is much worse now than before and Hillary can't say shit to the contrary.

Clinton hasn't been emperor the past 30 years. This attempt to blame everything that happened between such and such a date on Obama or on Bush is absurd, to do so to Clinton is ludicrous.
Yes, more attention should have been paid to ISIS earlier on. Im not sure what Hillary's culpability is in this case
