I'm in the Flintshire area keep looking.
Weird I just came online to complain my spots haven't fruited yet. They were quite prolific this time last year but only found a few this time. Maybe the milder weather, we are at quite a low elevation.

Could someone identify these for me please?
They were found in a field and they have blue all over them, especially the stem but there is some bluing on the cap as well. The cap is also very sticky and seems to have a membrane which is peeling off.

At last, thought I was the only person in Flintshire with an Internet connection haha. Some spots in Buckley are 157m above sea level but I haven't gone that far away yet.

Smoothcat said: Just found this pair out in the field, which is all I need for my little cloning experiment

Good luck with cloning from them I'm afraid I'm far too hamfisted to clone such small mushrooms
Also found these shaggy mane I believe
Please don't risk your health eating random mushrooms. I'm not a TI, but as I like a drink I've always steered clear of those sort of mushrooms.

So I'm thinking its gonna be mushrooms on toast for lunch
Even if they aren't what I think they are, they still look past their use by date.

Ha ha cheers
It took me a while to understand your post the libs are now on agar so will keep this thread posted with any action.
As for the shaggy mane I had them for lunch probably not the best thing to do but I did some reading and was sure that they were shaggy main and not magpie or common ink cap.
If they are common inkcap it's unlikely I'll be having a drink till the weekend so should be ok by then, if not I purge
Any thoughts peeps?

Hey there I may have a venture up that way if I run out of patience, just paranoid about leaving my car. My usual spot is only about 80m but it's walking distance to my house.

None of them look like libs to me, imo you should take spore prints. I'm probably wrong (as I am very much a beginner) but don't eat them until a higher power than I has confirmed

Someone help me!!! Took about 40 dried liberty caps last Thursday, unfortunately it didn't quite cut it for me. I then took around 50 on Saturday and I was absolutely buckled. Does anyone have any insight? Very little visual both times

1-12 all libs, last 3 are too immature for my rookie skills to positively ID. Spore print will tell you all you need to know, you want purplish-black.
