Habitat: grew off of a trail under a sticker bush.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Spore print color: will know for sure in the morning but it's looking like it's purple.
Bruising: blue-black
thinking they're p cyanescens just want to make sure.

Where in the world is this trail? In regional terms. Welcome to Shroomery.

Psilocybe cyanescens is very likely. Less likely would be P. azurescens.

I say cyan too. Gig harbor is close to me and cyans are there in good numbers.

Did they turn dark while drying? Looked like the rest before drying? If yes, eat away.

If you're iffy then just set them aside. Food poisoning sucks, upset stomachs while tripping sucks, and eating nasty mushrooms suck. My rule of thumb now is if I wouldn't eat it fresh and cleaned up then it's discard.
You can throw these older nasty ones in a blender or chop them up or just plain squish them. Add all the spore prints you've taken and spread that where mushrooms are already growing. It helps them a lot. You're doing more for the organism than it could.
In the field if I find a lot of old ripe ones I'll cover my boots in them and rub it all over my rain gear. I make sure to work it in very hard so my stick always has some sort of spores or tissue on it. I hunt in storms and get in the mess of it all, but the spores and sugars will stick to things as I walk through grasses. Someone here prints on his shoes every day in the season or soak your shoelaces in spores.

1 It could be covered in spores. 2 Or it could be rotten. You can tell by the firmness of it. Was it squishy soggy gross when you picked it?
