I found a few of these growing in a field behind my house. Previous owners owned a number of large animals as well.
Found this little guy growing on some old feces from what might have been a horse or cow.

Stipe is bare, hollow, brittle, tears easily, and thin.
Spore print is jet black
I did find two gill patterns. One was thin slats, and all were the same size. the other (found right next to it with identical characteristics) had one full size gill then a half and they were slightly farther apart. Not sure if relevant.
Pretty certain they are Panaeolus olivaceus

Those are Pans alright, but I couldn't tell you species since my brain is feeling funny at the moment from exercise.
A trusted identifier will be along soon and shall help you on your path to coprophilic fungi glory.
Tell that Pan in your most sexy voice possible, how nice a print it laid for you, like damn shawty you thick as fuck is what I would say to that print.
OK, I need to stop posting because I just went full retard.

Hrm cant tell because they appear a bit dark. If I had to guess based on an uneducated eye, if any, they are vertical not twisting. but I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for.

Just came back from the yard. A small harvest of identical mushies all from the same manure substance throughout the field.

Still waiting on confirmation though :o

Ahh good spot. So would that be a good identifier? Looking for that slight "twist" as far as finding Panaeolus olivaceus?

Don't bother, honestly, the amount needed is nausea central they are hardly even active.
-------------------- I give you the choice of 2 pills.
With each containing one of the following: Cyanide... Psilocin... Would you take the risk? Didn't think so. This is why Positive Identification prior to consumption is important.

No, pan cincts.....was thinking. Upon a closer look, however, the cap is way off for cincts. Listen to Alan.
