What kind of oyster is this?

My buddy gave me this culture and said they were blue oysters but i think they look more like a pearl color, see for yourself.

Looks like either Pleurotus Ostreatus (just regular oyster, blue oyster is just a variety of this one AFAIK) or Pleurotus Pulmonarius. Pulmonarius is also very widely cultivated, so it could just be it got mixed up. I think Pulmonarius has a higher water content and Ostreatus is firmer, but don't quote me on this. Pulmonarius comes up earlier in the wild, it's the summer oyster.
