This is my first post so i'm very sorry if it isn't up to standard or is in the wrong place
Alright, chaps. I'm fairly certain that i've finally found some liberty caps. I have a link to the pictures in this post as well. The main ones im questioning are the gold tinted crinkly ones, although they may just be a bit dry or past their prime.
Habitat: Found on a patch of grass next to a large field on a hill. Grass was short.Gills are brown, fairly long and thin stem. The stem was brown but has since turned into a similar color to the cap
Cap: Conical cap, some of which have a little 'nipple'.
Spore print color: (in progress currently)

Also, a quick side note. I don't have any scales, I have around 15 of these. Would you recommend eating them or should I wait to find more, or wait and try to find scales? I'm looking for a first dosage of around 2g. I'm very excited, I really hope these are liberty caps.

They're all fine, by the way. They're not bad, just lost a bit of moisture.

I found 15 of them for my first find last year... I found that it was enough to have a profound effect, with mild to medium halcunations. I had never tried mushrooms before, but had lots of past experience in my younger days with psychadelics, such as LSD.
Depends what you are after.
Enjoy

In which case, 15 is probably plenty!
Some make tea, some dry them, roll them in peanut butter and chocolate... I just munch them and wash them down with a glass of water
