What are your weaknesses and flaws?
What do you suck at and what sucks about you?
I suck at math and suck at reading maps and blueprints.
I suck at working delicately with my hands. I suck at anything requiring fine motor skills.
I have terrible short term memory. I suck at remembering where I just put things down.
I suck at not ranting at people about fringe conspiracy theories that they aren't interested in.
I suck at not giving unwanted advice and I suck at not giving the impression that I feel superior to people.
I suck at not getting impatient with people if they don't understand what I am saying.
I suck at keeping track of time and I suck at remembering when particular things happened .
I have flat feet and so I really suck at landing jumps without breaking my feet.
I suck at Technology stuff beyond the basics.
I suck at finishing a Novel before I start a new one.
I suck at not fearing the end of the world.
I suck at not setting unrealistic standards of perfection for myself.
I suck at seeing the world from a non-theistic paradigm.
I suck at using a calendar or day planner.
I suck at remembering birth days.
I suck at not eating meat.
I really suck at not working out too soon after an injury and making it worse.
I suck at telling lies and being dishonest.
I still suck at vegetable gardening but will never give up.
I suck at coping with life without drugs as a comfort.
I suck at singing and music.
That's a good list of things I suck at although not complete.
What do you suck at?

There is nothing at which I suck more than coping with my own inherent awesomeness. It's lonely at the top, let me tell you.

First self critical post I've ever seen you make moonshoe, props
I suck at math, time management, interacting with strangers/even friends sometimes, tolerating people who are assholes and people's bullshit in general, expressing my thoughts/sentiments in words, keeping in touch with people I care about, cooking. I'm sure I can come up with more but these are faults that easily come to mind

I suck at higher math. I suck at left and right English in pool, and at this stage of my life that's more important than the math. I suck at findinhg thing in my house I haven't seen my wallet in 5 days and I know I left it in the house. I'm reasonably clean when I have a roommate or a girl friend. but all hell breaks loose when a live alone. I suck at paying bills on time (the last 5 years) even when the money is in the bank. My Ficos have dropped from 790-800 to 720-730.
And most of all I suck at not biting the bullet and getting my self off ambien.

I suck at reminding people when they say "remind me about this later".
I suck at dealing with my addictions, which aren't as harmful as some, but still have a problem with my attachments in life.
I suck at walking the talk, saying things that I think people should be doing to better themselves, but don't do myself.
I suck at having sex for long lengths of time. Years of masturbation has damaged my neurology when it comes to sexual pleasure, as well as giving me a 'leaky penis' when I'm aroused.
I suck at understanding.
I suck at creative thinking.
I suck at holding a conversation on a subject I have little or no interest in.
I suck at sharing my opinion.
I suck at 'doing my hair'.
I suck at keeping my house clean(er).
I suck at golf.
I suck at long distance running.
I suck at lifting weights.
I suck at typing. Peck peck peck peck peck, two/three fingers only.
My vision sucks.
My posture sucks.
I suck at making the obviously smart(er) decisions when it comes to money and bartering.
I suck at cooking.
I suck at working on cars. Or any motor vehicle for that matter.
I suck at working with other people.

why does everyone say they suck at math, surely you just haven't been taught correctly? I mean math is no harder than english really it's just a language (many schools do suck at teaching it though)

oh I know
the number 1 thing I suck at is letting go, specifically when tripping. Literally nothing in life gives me as much pain or trouble as just embracing the trip, lying down and taking it. I usually pace the whole time in a state of agitation, although apparently I'm good at keeping that agitation from being noticed and ruining other people's trips.
I often cannot sit down, I just pace (last time I paced for 8 hrs straight, without interruption)
also I suck at eating, I often find it very hard to eat and it causes no shortage of annoyance and discomfort, again often in trips I find I can't eat anything for hours after the come-down and I just feel like shit

I suck at "not letting loose" - like in, dancing (I don't dance, at all, unless its like DDR, by myself) - or wearing Halloween costumes, or karaoke.
I don't like to look "stupid" in front of others, so it's a fear of looking like a dumbass like most other people don't have a problem doing. And while I drink, but I don't drink to get "drunk" - I just have 2 or 3 drinks max, so it's not getting alcohol in me that's the problem, it's that I always like to be in control, and not look like a fool.
I didn't always use to be like this, as I've gotten older (I'm 36) it's gotten a little worse.
Like **if** I went to burning man, I'd be dressed like a normal dude (Tank, shorts, sun glasses), not like a fucktard. Even though others look "cool" to me doing it (and still, a fucktard at the same time) - it's just not for me. I feel more comfortable in a high end suit, nice shoes, and groomed up - then like some fucking tribal idiot in an Indian vest, stupid boots, rainbow hair, and pubes hanging out a banana hammock.

I honestly wish I was better at socializing with people. But I run out of energy for being around most people very quickly. It means that even people I would like to hang out with more often I don't really get the chance too. Or that I have to pick and choose what social things I will be doing because I just don't have the energy to do all of the ones I want.

It's embarrassing sometimes. But auditory processing disorder is a thing. Mine is APD with audio hallucinations. I don't mind it but it makes life difficult sometimes. It took me a while to realize that I can't talk on the phone because half of my audio processing in conversations comes from body language and lip reading.
I like going to concerts and festivals and bars but I could never hook up with someone there. You say 80 words and I gathered about 6 after asking "what?" 20 times. people can get annoyed by too many what's so more often than not it's alot of smiling and mumbling and trying to leave to find someone who knows I'm verbally retarded and doesn't expect me to do anymore than the

suck at obvious stuff: making friends -- math (it all fell out -- though i am reading the Mathematical Experience, to buff up my understanding of the subject...because i usually dare not broach it, entirely. i love the idea of math, and used to be, at least, better at it...stopped going to math class at high school. yep. no Algebra skills. seriously...i don't even grasp the concept.

I love the basic algebraic principles, but have no use for anything past that.

thing is, i have no use for symbolic mathematics, period. never have. yet, at this point in time, it's certainly interesting to me, due to what can be done and/or understood with math, but...when i was younger, hell no, didn't give two fucks...but then again, even younger than that, it was somehow fun; especially geometry.
but algebra...LOL, i don't even know the principals. i'm that shite at math. yep. gotta brush up on some...like for example, some applied principals within algebra...that might peak my interest, cause as far as i am concerned it is...a non-applicable concept to me (simply symbolic, with no real-world use; in my limited understanding, however). though, reading about Fourier Analysis seems insightful, to the degree that i never understood nor knew anything but what the name was, in this concept of Fourier Analysis.

Algebra taught me a lot about organizing structures, some of the basic concepts apply to perceiving basically everything in life, structuring an essay or a French horn solo

Akira you're trying to tell me you can't solve for x?
So if Jamie doubled his apples and then receives 5, ending up with 13 total apples, how many apples did he start with?

Yes. 2x + 5 = 13 -5 -5 2x = 8 /2 /2 x = 4
Though you're not akira
I find it hard to believe you don't know that Akira

it shouldn't surprise you too much, since i don't even understand the concept of x.
explain x, and maybe i might have a chance. what is x?

see; like i said, i can't understand the symbolic logic here.
but i can understand your question, however. like i said, i never took the class.
but yeah, no, it confuses me. you say Jamie ends up with 13 after receiving 5 more apples and after doubling his apple supply earlier...well, it seems the answer is nine, but the way you phrased the question makes me doubt that answer.

Music. I can play lots of songs on a guitar even very complex pieces, but I just can't wrap my head around music theory. I just don't understand it. I try and I try, but it's been years and I still don't really get it. I almost wish I'd gotten a degree in it just because not understanding bothers me so much.

Well, consider the order. I said he doubles his apples and then adds 5 yielding 13. so he added 5 to get 13, what did he have after he doubled? 13-5=8 apples. But that was after doubling so what's half of 8? 4.
X is a placeholder for a number we do not know, but which has a value.

see what i mean. suck at math. i took the numbers to work with, and worked backwards...assuming 13 was number 1...apparently, it's number 0.
see, i suck at symbolic logic. just plain kill me already.
ie, i could have had the answer already, plus avoided looking like an idiot, and asking how one could double a number to 9, when the answer was 8, and you can double 4 to reach that number.
kill me...kill me (tiny bug voice)

I don't know where you're at, but for an absolute beginner I recommend Jazzology, regardless of the genre you're studying

Jazzology
Its a good book, you can see the Contents if you preview the book
If anyone's into composing Classical music or complex polyphony in general, there's: "The Study of Counterpoint" ~ Johann Joseph Fux The same book Beethoven, Mozart and a few others studied, very good book, haven't finished it

Trusting people is what i suck at. Thank god making friends was never hard for me BUT keeping them seems to be impossible these days.
Its odd..for some reason i am more comfortable talking to strangers than my own friends.
luckily i have an awesome woman as my fiance. I need to marry her and i need a prenup. I have trust issues
