Habitat: Where does it grow? Gold cap found in grass under pinetree, white/cream in grass of cow pasture What does it grow on? Both growing from soil in grass
Gills: White gills on both pretty well spread. White one gills seem to curl over the rims of cap and lines extend onto cap.
Stem: Both very sticky to touch. About2-3 inch length. Thick and meaty.
Cap: As viewed in picture
Spore print color: White for the golden cap and a rich creamy color for the white cap.
Bruising: Some brownish to gold cap and no notable bruising to White cap
Other information: Very earthy smell not unpleasant.

General rule of thumb for amanita's are dont eat the white ones!!
The destroying angel is a white amanita which will kill...........
But Im no trustes identifier, and im not sure what the white one actually is so stay tuned ...

I have A LOT of destroying angels that grow in my yard. They all have veils but this one does not have a veil and also has the crumbs on top with yellow spots when crumbs rubbed off.
Not sure if they still run the risk of being DA though.

Not sure about the white one, but the other looks like muscaria to me. Were there other mushrooms growing around the same tree?
Not sure for what reason you collected the white one for, but I'd throw it out.

They were in 2 different places. Gold cap in the park. White one in a field over a mile away. Gold cap was solo. White one had about 30 of them growing in a 5 foot diameter but not stacked except for 3.
Purpose for picking was to be able to ID. I want to know which ones are safe and what are dangerous and if they are dangerous how to ID them as well.
"Know thine enemy and respect thy own enemy as such" sort of concept

Alright that makes sense.
You don't want to eat it though. I don't know the species myself, but it's nothing active and it's not an edible.

Definitely appreciate that. The guessowii I picked to verify that I know what I am seeing with them now.
The white one I would love identifying but not just to delineate active or not. But have seem them growing around various places where I go to pick and would just love to know what they are.
I NEVER eat anything unless fully identified by a TI and even then if I have any reservations of any kind I will not eat. This is the only body I get, I choose to treat it will

And if anyone can verify if the absence of a veil delineates wether a DA is DA or not I would appreciate. I know the smooth chantrelles can be all white with no veil. This however has no veil but the popcorn textures on top with yellow underneath struck me as odd.
Thanks again all.

Can you take better pics of the base of the stipe (stem) on the white one? The base will offers clues as to what species of Amanita it is.
Your white one is not a destroying angel type, it's not even in Amanita sect. Phalloideae.

Amanita sect. Phalloides is the death cap correct?
I don't notice a rising veil from the base either but I will shoot a photo in 5 more minutes.

Habitat is a bit strange for an amanita, most of them prefer woodland.
Amanita citrina looks close, but as you say the lack of frill is a bit odd; and they're wood dwellers - especially under beech.
I'm tempted to compare it to a lepiota oreadiformis... Hard to say though.

It is the stem to the white one. One of the big reasons for my confusion. The Orange ones sttem has shades of purple and a rainbow of light shade colors.

Your orange one is Amanita muscaria var. guessowii
http://www.amanitaceae.org/?Amanita%20muscaria%20var.%20guessowii
Your white one might be a bleached out version of the same thing, but I say toss it to be safe.
The yellowing in the pileus of the white one makes me think it's a faded specimen of guessowii too, but ALWAYS play it safe when dealing with Amanita mushrooms.
They're really not the genus to be fucking around with.
