To those of you lucky enough to have access to DMT...
    #23747301 - 10/17/16 09:19 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

How often are you guys smoking this stuff?  It sounds fucking incredible and if I had my own, I feel like I would probably smoke the shit out of it until it was gone.

I just ordered a bunch of shit from amazon and will soon be ordering some Acacia Confusa Root Bark.  The plan is to make my own batch using the Joshishom's Tek, which supposedly will get me a good 7-10g of high quality DMT.

I can't fucking wait.

I smoked it every day for a while, until I had gone through nearly 10 grams and it was actually making my lungs feel tired. After a while, the DMT space kind of got tired of me being there. I had entities come right up to me and say things like, "Why are you here again?" "We just saw you." "You need to spend more time in your body." When I was told that by the DMT, then I smoked it less.

Enjoy your DMT man, smoke it until the crazy kaleidoscopic entities tell you to stop.

:breakthrough:

The blast off and break through can be very intimidating. I enjoy small to medium doses about once a week

I'll probably smoke 20mg once a week until the last one, where I'll do a 40mg+ breakthrough dose. Like WeAreMushroom said, the entities don't like you constantly being there. Entities can cut your entire trip short and hyperslap you back to reality if they don't like what you're doing.

I learned my lesson not to abuse it...

So full on breakthrough each time you do it isn't the best way to go?  If the breakthrough is as amazing as it sounds, I'm surprised you wouldn't want that every time.

What about somebody doing it for their first time, how much would you say is the best weight for them to smoke assuming they are very experienced with psychedelics?  Should they try for the breakthrough on their first time smoking it?

Breaking through takes practice. It took me going through like two or three whole grams of DMT before I had my first breakthrough. At first it took me nearly 60mg, now it takes me as little as 15 or 20mg. It's different for everybody though, don't take that as dosage advice.

After you've been smoking DMT for a while, it'll take you less DMT to get there because you'll be familiar with what it feels like to just drop your body and go into hyperspace. Until then, you can try but you most likely will not break through on your first time.

The chemical has a kind of learning curve for those who smoke it. It's so harsh that most people I introduce it to spit out the smoke immediately on their first real attempt. If you're a cigarette smoker or an every day BHO dabbler, you've got a leg up in this. I prefer to dab it with an oil rig so I can inhale the entire dose in one breath, instead of hoping I stay coherent long enough to take 3 hits from a pipe. If you really want to break through, you have to take the whole dose in one dab and hold it as deep in your lungs as you can, down in your diaphragm.

Hold that smoke in your lungs like it's the most important thing in the world, because holding that breath long enough is the difference between witnessing the incomprehensible majesty of the universe and "whoops, try again."

It's not that you don't want to break through every time. Sometimes what you witness when you break through is too overwhelming to want to experience on a daily basis, or a weekly basis, or even a monthly basis, Sometimes you might be contacted by entities that request that you stop visiting. If you don't take their advice, the DMT experience becomes successively less pleasant until you take a break.

DMT is like having a big door in your house that leads to God. It's amazing and wonderful behind that door, but it's so amazing you can barely comprehend it. So amazing it makes you question your very existence. Sure, it's a life changing experience to look behind the door. Maybe you even look behind the door three days in a row one week, just because it makes you so speechless and in awe.

But it's not something you would do every day.  After a while you only look behind the door on very special occasions, because you know what's back there, and you can't spend every day in the sheer overwhelming presence of the Almighty. DMT is the most powerful experience you can have, and it takes time to integrate.

I myself have been extracting and consuming it for the better part of 4 years. I've been on a break from the DMT for about a year now. I kept getting repetitive requests from entities to spend more time in my body when I'd take DMT and so I stopped taking it, after my second period of very frequent DMT smoking.

I feel called back there though, and look forward to doing DMT again soon once I extract more.

Because that shit is intense as hell, man! Haha seriously, I describe breakthroughs as being "terrifyingly beautiful". It's like driving 300mph off a cliff, jumping out, then sky diving unto Mars.

I wouldn't recommend breaking through your first time. Dmt is unlike any other psychedelic. I've seen veteran trippers on here say they don't like the intensity of it. If you've broken through on shrooms then go ahead. But if it's your first time, start out with a low dose to see if you like it, then go for the breakthrough an hour later.

Dab rig is by far the easiest way to break through, doesn't take the technique or practice a pipe does. Just measure the dose and take it in 2 big hits. Guaranteed break through

Agreed that dabbing is the way to go, just not with a red hot nail! Low temp/E-nails seem like the way to blast off.
Lately I've used a nectar collector which allows you to essentially vaporize a line with a hot straw. Aka hot railing.

Since I've had the nectar collector I've used it excessively. By this I mean daily. Most often not aiming to break through but still having earth shattering experiences.

If you play with it excessively you'll likely find that your life is really the focal point of the desire you're chasing. You'll witness your own destruction and creation, and have a greater value on the wakeful conscious. You may trip yourself out of tripping.  :crossbones:  :twocents:

I've had I think six break throughs. They where spaced days to months apart.

Right now I feel like i will probably blast off something like once a year.

I have to respect dmt

Yeah you should respect DMT. But I mean you have to experiment with it yourself to figure out how to use it in your own life.
I was doing DMT every night for about 3 months. Most of the time was a breakthrough experience.

I had the same thing happen with the "entities not wanting you to be there anymore". At first the entities would be really excited to see me and the trip would be filled with love, friendlyness, and excitement.

Then after a while, the trips would get dark and strange and empty feeling. My last couple of DMT trips I saw a woman who actually literally slapped me in the face. Then I had a really weird mindfuck where I didn't know who I was or where I was and forgot that I had even done DMT. Then I smoked again and I my whole room went dark and there were a bunch of black giant spiders crawling all over my room and bed.

I had to stop after that. I don't have any DMT anymore and don't really feel like buying any because if I'm only tripping like once a week I might as well have a 5-hour mushroom trip instead of a short DMT trip. But I'll probably buy some more for those times when I don't have the time for a full-on mushroom trip.

DMT will tell you when you've done it enough and can put it down.

Dip toes in 3x just for a feel. 1st time going deep with 1 big hit=breakthrough.  Being physically fit from a lifetime of swimming helps due to lung capacity and holding it in for eons.  Unlike anything you can imagine, it's intense.

You guys are scaring the shit out of me.  That said, I cannot fucking wait to do it.

I'll be checking back in with you all after I finally get my hands on it.  I had someone say that they had a gram for me and then fell off the radar.  My guess is that he tried it for the first time and was like "fuck you I'm holding onto this shit"

I ordered just about all the materials for an extraction and will be using Joshishom's Tek.  I am still trying to get one last question answered though...

I go through phases where I'm feeling down to dabble with it somewhat more often (a few times a week when ever I get the chance)....

...and then other times where I don't at all want to go there :smirk: , not feeling down for that for weeks or more.

That's basically how I am with psychedelics in general...I'll sometimes go a month or two with out tripping, and other months where I'm really in the mood to trip more frequently or have 2 or 3 trips in a week.

I smoked a mild dose while out on a nature walk last week. Several days before that I smoked some at the end of a mushroom trip, the morning after that trip I smoked some after waking up. Before that it had been about a month, and before that time had been about a month.

The way it usually goes for me is it often sounds too damn intimidating, then I'll finally get around to smoking some and have a gnarly experience with it that doesn't "rattle" or frighten me, then for the next few days I'm totally in the mood and feeling up for "going there". Sometimes I'll have a pipe sitting around already loaded & ready to go, that way if I get a random calling or feeling for doing so it's already prepped.

and BTW...I concur with a lot of what WeAreMushroom said in his second post in this thread, well said & good post  .

To answer your question dusty bottoms, shredded is fine. Youll be boiling it for 1hr45mins 4 separate times (in the tek I recommend) so shredded should allow you to get everything out of it.

I can't imagine powered makes a difference. If it looks like you still have alot left on the last boil, and don't wanna leave anything behind just do another boil and reduce a little more.

Also, in my experience, doing a small dose to start will help eliminate some of the blast off jitters.

Usually,  I remember in the middle of the small one that the spirit is loving and beautiful, and I have no reason to fear it

Thanks.

Which tek do you recommend?  I'm not sure that it matters at this point since I already spent so much on the supplies for the joshishom tek, but im just curious.

While DMT does sound like an amazing drug, I am not really hearing many people talking about it being a life-changing or life-improving experience.

Do you guys agree that it's really more of just a "fun" thing and more for the "experience" than it is for it teaching you something or having a profound impact on your life?

I can look back on some (not all but some) mushroom or LSD trips, and it having a very positive effect on my life.  Does DMT have the potential to do the same or is it just a mind-altering drug at the end of the day?

Huh.  I haven't heard of this, then again I haven't really searched for it either.  Just eat the crystals?  Or is there a different process altogether when extracting it?

You need to use Syrian Rue seed, or B. Caapi vine, or Moclobemide, to activate DMT orally. Then you can either ingest the pure DMT crystals, or make a tea or residue from a DMT-containing plant. You can also ingest the Mimosa or Acacia root powder in capsules after taking the Rue, Caapi, or Moclobemide, but it'd be better to go with residue in capsules rather than ingesting to root powder itself.

I think that many people just look at it as a "fun" thing because of its short duration. "Hey doods we got a half hour to kill, lets light up some deems!"

*fart noise*

It's all about what you're willing to get out of it. I've only had sub-breakthrough trips so far and to be honest, they have changed my whole world view and my own understanding of self. In many ways I have radically shifted from who I was previously because I was open to the experience and saw the value in what I was presented with.

Is it just a mind-altering drug? Well yes, but so are mushrooms and LSD and... and... and... It's not the substance that is going to change your life. It's you having the experience and then integrating that experience into your daily life that is going to have the potential to change you.

DMT is is very much a life changing experience. It's quite literally where you go when you die. When they've given DMT to shamans from the Amazon and yogis from India and asked them about their experiences, they say that the place you go is the afterlife, and that the entities that you encounter are ancestor spirits.

Quite literally, these are the souls of the departed out there, living an existence far too complex for our 3 dimensional minds to comprehend. Terence McKenna has some great talks about DMT and what it means for society on YouTube. DMT is there for us as the universe's catalyst to provide us a preview of the afterlife.

What I personally take away from the DMT experience that I find so transformative and life changing, is that it indicates that the human experience doesn't end at this mode of existence. This lifetime is simply a metamorphosis into something more complex and meaningful, and as much as we might try to understand it during this lifetime, the concepts of the afterlife are too sophisticated to completely comprehend with smoked DMT.

DMT is not a "fun" thing, really. While you might enjoy the experience, it's not really a drug that can be used in a party setting, and that's not really how you'll end up getting the most out of it.

I used to be an atheist and then DMT changed my life. I had already had countless psychedelic experiences with LSD, mushrooms, MDMA, 2C-B, MDA, etc, and none of them touched me in such a profound way as DMT.

Other people answered it well already. But I'll say something too.

DMT is like diving into an ocean of pure information for like 20 minutes. You can pull extremely useful things out of it. Or you cannot. There's no way to tell beforehand. Sometimes you do it and you don't learn anything specific, but you still get that awesome connection with the universe that you get on LSD or Mushrooms. I at least get that feeling almost every time I do DMT, but I learn specific things as well.

I've had DMT slap me in the face with shit I've needed to learn at a certain stage in my life. And I'm definitely better for it.

And also. Since it's so quick, it can be even MORE amazing.

Because it's like...
Your sober. Then 5 minutes later you're in DMT-space... Then 10 minutes later you're sober again... So you can very easily compare your normal state to the Psychedelic state.
Like a stark Black/White contrast between Sober state and Psychedelic state. So whatever DMT shows/teaches you is made completely in-your-face obvious and you can't deny it. I guess that's maybe why Terence McKenna called DMT the "Ultimate Convincer"

It's like instant Psychedelic information-retrieval.

Smoked DMT, probably not. Oral DMT? Definitely.

Pretty much what I was going to say...

I personally feel that smoked DMT does not offer me much "time" or the proper sort of "space" for a "life improving" experience (or a healing/learning experience) like a long proper mushroom, LSD, cactus, or oral DMT experience can..It's just so rapid, reality shattering, so chaotic and far out that it's incredibly difficult to bring anything back that can be applied to my self or my life....

....Life changing, drastically changing someones view of the universe/reality just from the novelty of the experience and going places/experiencing things/contacting entities one never thought possible , I definitely think so....but I really don't feel that smoking the stuff offers me much time or the proper sort of space/experience for improving one's self and life....or at least no where near the potential it has in this area when taken orally.

Taking DMT orally in combo with syrian rue or the ayahuasca vine...I think this route is by far one of the best psychedelics for catalyzing life improvement, getting lots of work done on oneself, healing/cleansing out a bunch of baggage, learning about oneself and nature's systems.

Smoked DMT for me is more sort of a "I just want to see what happens" sort of thing (not to make it sound like I take the stuff lightly, because I don't....or not seriously, because I do)...It's such a novel thing to experience, reality shattering, eye opening & mind opening, and it is thought provoking and brings up a bunch of things to ponder about "reality"...Not at all "fun", though maybe a dash of "thrilling" :smirk: , and very interesting :yesnod: :strokebeard:.

:super: Excited for ya man! I'd let that thing keep sitting for a while. It never hurts to wait during the freeze precipitation process because just when you think it's done it's not done lol.

Acacia rocks!
