Standing water on my substrate?
    #23745912 - 10/17/16 02:56 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

My sub was done to proper field capacity is it normal for the substrate to produce so much moisture if so should I dump it off the surface?

Looks like 1/4 inch of water? That is not normal.

Trying to tell if you dunked or not. How does it smell? Is it reshie?

Looks like you should dump that water.

Is the tub colder than the surrounding air? I can see condensate on the sides of the tub.
Might be cooling humidity in the air and its falling onto the surface.

Any condensate on the outside of the tub?

Condensation is warming process. So if your tub is colder then the air, water will condensate in and around the tub.  HS physics.

I'm growing Reishi and I've got tons of water pooled on the subs.
No issues so far.

Leave it.
