The heartbreak of mysticism * 1
    #23746239 - 10/17/16 04:19 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

For some people, delusion is thinking they're God. This is not delusional for me.

For me, delusion is thinking I can ever have things in the physical. A career, a relationship, my own place to live, recognition, status...being valued in the world, by the world.

I get to have EVERYTHING spiritually

But nothing physically

Because physicality isn't sustainable for me

You can't be everything

Limitation is real, it exists somewhere for every person

Thinking about this after I wrote it, I saw the layer where I'm saying I can't have anything as long as I'm living through Se.

"I get to have everything spiritually" = I get to have everything as long as I live through Ni (it will have to happen as if by magic, then)

That still sounds really delusional though...I experience magic inside my body all the time, but I don't believe in that bringing me a better life on the outside.

To get results in the physical world, you have to invest in physicality. I'm not capable of doing that anymore.

Spirituality is the place where I naturally commit.

You nailed it.

The Self is all.

The physical / material / society will never offer anything worth chasing after finding the Self.

The Self however opens into other ways to be aware.

Is the heartbreak sustainable?

Setting a limit to what you're capable of, at any age, is the delusion imho.

..... but this isn't a debate thread, is it?

Physicality is the effulgence of the magical illusion of spirit.

Caring for it is good in my eyes.

Although form is temporary , I would allow yourself to not exclude it , forsaking it for what?  When tired sleep, hungry - eat, full - expulsion, when duty calls - work, when with others - play.

There need'nt be heatbreak.

In this lucid dream we call life how can you forget that form is empitness and emptiness form?    Infusing the self/mind into the primordial ground of being as if to never wake from a lucid dream can you really not see matter is spirit in disguise and spirit is matter in disguise.
