There is alot of evidence that bad diets make people feel worse emotionally and think less clearly. And it's not because of guilt. It's because their body has excessive amounts of shit it doesn't need (and often not enough of the shit it does) and that interferes with it functioning optimally.
How much is too much is another debate. I suppose if you are physically active and your diet is otherwise ideal then low fat low sugar ice cream or frozen yogurt 3 times a week would be okay. Still seems a bit excessive to me. But I'm also thinking about average people who tend not to get a whole lot of exercise and also eat junk food 2-3 times a week (pizza, burgers, fast food.) so there are alot of variables.
I still feel more comfortable saying to LIMIT sweets and junk food as much as possible if you want to feel good. Afterall it stops being a treat if you have it every other day.

Naa, ironically I value my health too much to take pills. At the end of the day pills aren't needed, they are just cleverly marketed to make people believe they need them. Humans have been around for a long time without the use of prescription medicine , I.e synthetic chemicals.

You just have to find what exercise you're good at, stop comparing yourself to others, that way of thinking will only lead to failure.
I'm a firm believer that everyone that is physically able is good at some form of exercise, they just don't try because someone told them they sucked at one activity in the past, so they allow that negative thought to grow in their mind and they never try at other things.

Yep. Still the world needs more ice cream. Better than politics, religion, media, relationships.
Heck I might put on 200kg and become the worlds fattes man. Then when they interview me I can say, 'I did it for the ice cream'

3 times a week is excessive to you? Jesus what do you say to alcohol drinkers? Do you drink alcohol, if so is it 3 times a week or more? Do you pop pills everyday? Honestly 3 times is nothing.

Yes. No. And yes. You can have a glass of red wine everyday and that is healthy. An occasional beer is healthy. Getting drunk is not healthy. Daily drinking can only be healthy in small amounts and with specific beverages.
Your ice cream theory can be healthy enough if you eat about 3-4 tablespoons. But if you're eating a bowl 3 times a week that is not healthy.
I'm on antidepressants so I don't lose my fucking shit and go postal at my stupid office job and the white tie idiots in it. And I take kratom almost daily for widespread chronic pain, for effectively the same reason. I don't like taking pills but it's better than killing myself or losing my job or going to the mental ward.
Don't look down on me fancy pants. I've done alot of research on battling depression and anxiety in the last 15 years and I've spent much of that time without pills. I've tried a little bit of everything and the thing that helped me the most was having a good diet. Yes, ice cream 3 times a week, and pizza or fast food or other junk food during the week along with that is not a good diet. It's not a horrible diet, but it's not a good one.
Occasional sweets, treats, rewards, come at no more than once a week.
Don't get all defensive. I'm just telling you from what I've studied. If you like ice cream 3 times a week then that's good for you but I wouldn't promote it to others as a way to cure anxiety. People who actually have anxiety issues could try that and just end up fat and miserable.

I'm sorry but there are contradictions in your posts. I am not getting defensive you seem to be rolling in hypocrisy. You say don't put shit in your body yet you say wine everyday is healthy??? That is just another successfully marketed scam to turn people into alcoholics and keep alcohol producers in business. Please don't post some bullit article listing benefits or studies on this because they are all rubbish. You also say you take pills everyday, which are 100% worse than ice cream or junk food.
I'm sorry but your pills are worse. People don't get fat and miserable with anxiety problems. The get fat and miserable from prescription medication essentially turning them into mindless zombies for the rest of their lives. When the medication stops, the real world comes back into view and these so called 'mental illnesses come back'. At least with junk food or Ice cream, you can stop and not have to worry about that.

A glass of wine or a small amount of brown charcoal barrel liquor is good for you. Brown liquor can help intestinal issues and a glass of red wine a day is good for your heart
https://www.google.com/search?q=is+red+wine+good+for+you&oq=is+red+wi&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0j5j0.5183j0j4&client=ms-android-verizon&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
Red wine can actually help you battle the downsides of your ice cream habit.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1224516/How-junk-food-diet-depression.html&ved=0ahUKEwiigNT3gOrPAhUHFz4KHYygCo4QFghJMAU&usg=AFQjCNEMydtNxf167O5llT8N3ywjGnNj2A&sig2=VOiQuaqXrbeyBygroLJT6w
I dropped facts, or well accepted ideas, and you come back trying to claim that I'm just as bad as you. I never said you were bad, I just said that studies disagree with your opinion. And I never said I have a perfectly healthy lifestyle either.
With all due respect you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. You have an opinion and justify your opinion with more opinions.
Anecdotal evidence: I'm missing an organ because of junk food. Junk food has addictive properties too. I'm a little bit depressed that I don't have a full body anymore. But it forced me to change my diet and that has done more for me than anything else ever could.
The key is moderation. In all things. And what defines moderation is the only thing we disagree with. As far as food.

I've read articles on red wine being good but I've come to the conclusion thä it's bad. Another clever makerting strategy.
You have no idea what you are taking about. You advocate pills like candy. My opinions are based on common sense not some drug induced haze. Healthy eating with ICE CREAM & JUNK FOOD & EXERCISE IS GOOD. Alcohol damages the body and the liver and telling people to drink it every day is gonna lead to more liver disease and failure, and of course the need for more transplants which there is already a shortage of. That is FACT. Do some research before advocating poisonous substances. You snapped bad

I advocate pills like candy? I dunno who you think I am but that ain't me. I've coached plenty of people on depression anxiety and mental illness and only in the cases of severe imbalance, like aggressive schizophrenia have I recommended pills. More often I recommend herbs and exercise and conscious thought. I've advised countless people not to take pills. I'll be coming off my own soon enough.
I think you have a bone to pick with someone but it isn't me. I used to be young and thought I knew everything for no reason too.
Trust me, most peoples diets are far worse than a small glass of red wine a day. I dunno why you think alcohol companies need a doctor to help promote their products when it's the only legal high, a huge social commodity, and far far more is sold for parties and holidays. You didn't back your conclusion up with anything. If you drink daily it is of course bad when you are already taking pills and eating junk everyday, which most Americans are. You're hung up on that, not me.
And I never denied that occasional sweets were bad. Just that ice cream 3 times a week is bad advice for most of the people in the first world.
I'm "snapping" because you are making loads of rediculous (baseless) assumptions. About me. I tend not to like that bud. Especially when you're obviously just not listening to me. And if you look back, before this post, I never made any statement against you personally, or your lifestyle. And I very easily could have. But that's childish. That is what you have done. And that's why I'm accusing you of being young and nieve. In all the posts I've ever read from you you have never been able to debate without accusing people of things they didn't do. Irrelevant things. False assumptions. You take it beyond childish and into stupid territory.
So being that it's impossible to debate with you I think I'll take my leave. Have fun with your ice cream and delusions about everyone around you.

My assumptions are based on what you wrote.
Thank you I will enjoy my 'delusions' that don't involve pills or alcohol. Did you read the article? You don't know what 1/3 of anyone does diet wise so how can YOU make an assumption that most 'Americans' eat junk food, alcohol and other bad things regularly?
