Liquid culture water on tyvek filter?

I have a half pint jar with a lid I made. The lid has a silicone SHIP and a little tyvek filter (the cloth kind from painter's coveralls). The tyvek filter is secured with more silicone.
Because the jar is small, the water is all the way up the top of the jar. When agitating it, I suspect some water hits the lid. However, it's a pretty good moisture barrier, almost hydrophobic I'd say. From the outside, the filter isn't wet or moist at all. Should i be worried at all about contams?

If you're making a LC and you don't already do agar work. You should be really worried about contamination

I guess you've been reading some ancient info, or maybe one of those old threads where they tell you to inoculate your honey LC with spores... those are terrible and it's not considered good practice nowadays because of how prone to contamination these kinda LC's are.
Read current info from now on and you'll quickly realize that the last thing a newbie should do is an LC.

Well, shit. Thanks for the info though. What do I do with a small amount of spores then? Should I do grain instead of PF and just G2G?

Bolded and underlined for your convenience. That's exactly what you should do.

Absolutely a way better idea. to use spores on PF cakes or grains
Putting spores in a LC is a good way to waste time and spores
