Steam sterilization in tea maker? (brf cakes)

Hello everyone
I have some spores coming my way sometime this week. I have everything i need (vermiculite brown rice flour and perlite for a sgfc) For the steam sterilzation part, i noticed while i was making hot tea it produces a good amount of steam and you can change the temp to your liking. for my living situation, i think this would be absolutely perfect. I could be wrong though. How do you think this would work out as opposed to steaming the jars in a pot and lid.
However my only concern is the little heating element inside. I don't think it would be a problem at all and can't really see a reason it would interfere.f
One another thing, have any of you personally had better yields with crumbling brf cakes into a monotub, or sticking them into a sgfc.
Thanks all
Here are a couple photos of the tea maker.

I think that even if it did work, making 2 cakes at a time would get old really fast. Plus you need it to steam for 90 min. Just use a pot with a lid.

Yeah i figured that too. But do you think it would actually work even doing two cakes at a time? Is there an ideal temp to sterilize at or just plain old boiling water at a low boil?

Naw I think it would be a pain in the ass at best and a complete fail at worst. Those things are not meant to have a boil held for 90 min. You need a gentle boil when steam sterilizing. Just simmering along at 180 ain't gonna work.
Your mom will be super pissed if you break that thing trying to grow drugs.

You just told us in your "I wanna grow in a university-owned shed near an illegal pot grow site" thread that you have access to a PC. Why would you ever choose a tea maker over a PC?
Shit this is that guy?

haha nah i live in a dorm as i discussed in another thread you posted in that i REALLY don't want to get into again. Two things, i wont be colonizing cakes, injecting spores into cakes or growing in a dorm or anywhere sketchy and that's that. Only thing will be done in my dorm is sterilizing and cooling brf verm and water. Anyways, yeah that's true they aren't meant to boil that long. The only thing is having a pot for 90 minutes on a stove would likely arouse suspicion to my mates while having that plugged into the wall in a nice safe area would not.
Maybe i should invest in a hot plate

Yeah i have access to a Pressure cooker
I know manufacturing a fucking substance, having it in possession, and selling it are different things.
Im not getting butthurt about this. the fucking people it's so damn annoying i dont need people to think for me and tell me not to do this because of the situation. Not asking to be treated nicer i can hold my own, anyone telling me i can't do this because i live in a dorm can fuck off and their wasting their time.
Stop trying to not follow the teks and asking questions about sterilizing cakes with an iced tea maker. Like what kind of response do you honestly expect? A half ass grow will give half ass results. Always.
My mistake no idea why i said that
Also its a hot tea maker, not iced tea. That wouldnt make any sense at all.
Another thing, for the response i expected was one like pastywhite's, actually answering my question and being helpful.

It's great you got past the shed idea, but come on man. You're making up a jar of food and leaving it out to rot. Your only hope that it won't be filled with bacteria and mold and rotting before the week (at least) it takes for spores to germinate and the next 2-4 weeks it takes for a jar to be colonized is that your properly sterilized it.
You need to accept what exactly it is you're doing with this hobby and come to accept that taking the short route will ruin your grows. Do you want to grow mold or do you want to grow mushrooms?
Mine is different, theres a removable basket that loose tea goes in, and than it heats up the water and lowers the basket and you can set water temp and how long the basket stays in there,
However theres also a setting for boiling water, just dont know about the heating element and if it would be good to boil for 90 minutes.
Ill probably end up finding some time to sterilize them on the stovetop. Just thought it would be a cool and easier way to do it this way.
thanks

Here are a couple photos of the tea maker.

Use that for tea (probably no shroom tea yet)and your pc for steam.
Also follow teks to a T.

I think it's time to ask this guy for ID. He doesn't live in a dorm. He's totally 16 years old.

I just don't know why he's so combative to answers given from proven growers. If someone tells you it's not gonna work trying grow out of a toaster or the hollow piping in your dorm room cot, why ask why? I realize you may be trying to work with what you got but damn. Ask around if anyone's mom or aunt has a PC you could borrow because you want to make some beef stew.
I'm not trying to be a dick here but what business do you have trying to break the mold when the only fungus you have ever grown was between your toes?
