Help with ID. Possible Panaeolus, Psathyrella or Psilocybe maybe??
    #23744023 - 10/16/16 09:54 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
Found in Willamette Valley. On mulch near park. After recent rains. I don't think it was coniferous bark. It was growing in a large (atleast 100 mushrooms) gathering near grass, but was fruiting on mulch.

Gills:
They did not look attached to stem from what I could tell. But I am no mycologist. Brownish/grey color.

Stem:
Stems brownish like Pan cincts Ive found previously, I could not detect any obvious bruising. White mycelium around stem. (Sorry about uprooting! It was an accident.).

Cap:
Cap grew lighter in color upon drying. From brown to more a hay color.

Spore print color:
Jet black, from what I can tell, but there could be other tones?

The only actives I have found before were Pan cincts, this was in Southern California (just moved to OR!). These remind me of them, except these were on mulch, and I've always found mine on lawns. I thought at best they could be Psilocybe sylvatica or more likely a Psathyrella/Panaeolus or other genus I don't know of. Still getting my sea legs up here in terms of identification.
Appreciate any input. Sorry I don't have pic of fruiting site.
