cool stuff. I thought last night was a full moon. Was quite beautiful. Would be cool to have an orange moon so close to halloween.
Wonder if I can see that rocket from my house. Will have to find a good spot looking southwest.
Will have to stay up late tonight.

Sadly I will not be able to attend in person. The CV joints in my vehicle are going out and it is a 3 hour drive to get there. I will be watching from home though.

I am in the green zone personally, was really hoping to make the trip out there. Anyone close with a reliable vehicle planning on heading out?

Oh shit I didn't miss it. I have a hard time believing I will see it in MA. I'm trying to think of a spot I could even see 5 degs above the horizon. I would have to climb a mountain and bring binoculars.

Watched it with the kids standing on a hill by the house. We are about 40 miles straight line from the launch site. It was incredible to see. Got to see the second engines burn as well after about a minute of darkness when first engines burned out. Tried to get pics on my phone but they were just black. Can't wait to go see one in person!!
Thanks for sharing the info on this thread. I would have not been able to experience this otherwise.
