A proper LC is required to be inoculated with agar, then tested on agar.
Doing LC before agar is like trying write a novel before you learn how to read.

This is the second set of jars ive knocked up with this lc. This first is currently in a monotub almost ready to fruit. I pc my syringes before and after use and i switch the needle in between nocs with a new one and still flame sterile that one as well.

I'd say you've had a varying degree bacteria all along in those 3 years, no spore syringe is clean, that jar just happens to be extremely bacterial. Bacterial spawn can produce fruits but BE is affected and weakens myc making it more susceptible to mold. Creamy looking myc, those wet grains touching the glass, jars that are hard to shake and break up are all some signs of bacteria.

Could it be the grain was too wet when i inoculated?
Somewhat off topic but do you think 25 petri dishes would be enough to get started in agar

What difference would it make if the grain was too wet? It's still bacterial.
25 dishes won't be enough if you're gonna try to isolate from MS. Grow it, then clone and clean it using those 25 plates.

There is no doubt in my mind that the bacteria came from the LC you made. You just can't push a syringe into a LC and expect to have a 100% clean LC. It's up in the realm of winning the lottery imo.
25 petri dishes is a good place to start.
If you are only attempting to clean up a drop from a syringe - 25 is more than enough. If you want to start cleaning up clone tissue and/or attempt an isolate. 25 will be ate up rather quickly.
