ID Help Please - Southern Wisconsin - Laughing Gym?

hey guys just wondering if this would be a valid laughing gym or deadly neurotoxin look-alike? I found it in a Wisconsin state park close to the lake.
It was growing on dead tree with rusty brown gills hollow stem white on the inside walls of the stem. I have not taken spore print yet as I just got these and came home, working on it now. there is no noticeable bruising. It smells sweet and fruity almost like an orange.
Do I have a winner?

Thanks for your reply
After a couple hours of research I am thinking its Gymnopilus liquiritiae because the spores are a brighter brown or orange. I thought it was Junonius but these have a ring on the stipe and the cap kind of hangs over and into the gills.
I guess my main concern is toxicity. I cant find any resources on look-alikes that can make you sick or kill you. Any info clarifying this would be awesome.
Does anyone know of any look-alikes or resource I can use to compare or test? I am finding a ton of misinformation and mix ups with names of this species. If anyone has any experience with these babies please help.

Yeah my first thought was "these look like gymnopilus Liquiritiae with a ring." I doubt they're toxic as I'm 99.99%,sure they're gyms but also gyms are not super well documented and there are very few good resources on the genus. Despite that I don't know of any toxic gyms or anything toxic that those could be, I wouldn't consume them without a 100% ID- it's just not worth taking any risk over. Be safe and good luck on finding a more defined ID.
Btw- though they look like gym Liquiritiae, the presence of an anulus is too big to ignore- they're (almost) definitely something else.
Have a good night

Thank you, good night to you as well.
Yes I agree I am not going for it without further information. But I will keep the prints for further microscopy.
Does anyone know of a resource that shows you the actual picture of the spore of the psychoactive strains?
Thanks _Mero_

So far no specific genus types come up with exactly what I have, but when I search the general genus name of Gymnopilus P.Karst some of the pictures come up with exactly what I have. A few that best reflect what I have on MushroomObserver.Org
Cant find much more...

Thanks, I hope so. Not getting too much thorough feedback for piece of mind lol. But most characteristics point to being consumable.
Good luck hunting man. Enjoy. I have been going every weekend for the last month. It's good times getting lost in nature.
