Poisonous and edible mushrooms in pei
    #23739314 - 10/15/16 07:12 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Are there any poisonous lookalikes to liberty caps that I should be looking out for in pei canada?
On my excursion today I found many mushrooms that someone who had only read about liberty caps may have mistaken for them, but I felt that the difference was very obvious.
I tried searching for lookalikes but they all seem pretty different to me, so I was hoping to get some insight from someone more experienced about what I should be looking out for.
Pictures would be appreciated but if you tell me the names of them I can do my own research for how they look.

Aside from that I'd like to learn about what is poisonous in my area whether they look like liberty caps or not, I'll do some searching but anything that you guys could point me to would be greatly appreciated.

Also I figured that since I'll be out looking for mushrooms I should try and learn about edibles as well, I'm doing some searching now but if there are any that you guys know of and could tell me about I would be grateful.
