Putting H2O2 into substrate when inoculating with LC

Hi! I heard that you can put some hydrogel peroxide into your BRF substrates when using liquid culture to inoculate. Does anyone know anything about that?

H2O2 has no place in this hobby at all period.
You should be making clean LC. Thus you don't need bullshit to try to cut corners. LC should never be made with spores. Sticking spores into a LC is stupid. The only way to make a LC properly is inoculation with a verified clean culture. Like on an agar wedge.
Also if you have " cobweb mold " you dun fucked up big time. Its hard to grow cobweb unless you're trying to fail so fix the problem dont go spraying it with peroxide. Toss that shit.

So, I think this

stems from this:
http://www.fanaticus.com/antibiot.htm
Scroll down to PF peroxide and BRF cloning tek This isn't going to work well. BRF is very good at hiding contamination unless you really know what to look for. This tek is what the BRFAS teks on here are based on. You are trying to create the 2D plane for growth, but this H2O2 business is simply not satisfactory. Plus, peroxide actually weakens the cell walls of the mycelium also. You don't want to have to injure your culture just to cure it. Just like chemo, it can do more harm than good
I'm saying this because I've tried both this cloning tek and BRF agar substitute plates. I won't say these things can't work, because a skilled mycologist could most likely make them work (otherwise pf wouldn't have bothered to write these teks), but fanaticus wasn't right about some things. We gotta remember that some of professor fanaticus' info/teks are over 20 years old now.
we strive to start with clean cultures as much as possible, then pick clean growth away from contamination. That's how/why we use agar. Click the agar link in Bodhi's sig.

Hahahah I typed this on my phone, oops.
Anyway I haven't made the LC yet. I just ordered the LC from the spore depot, will clone it.

Reminds me of a recent thread in GM&MM where a guy argued with me saying that LC has to have spores in it.

There's no LCs of actives sold, at least marketed that way. Spores can germinate but no one sells LCs of actives
