Ariocarpus Texensis?

Seen ariocarpus cacti for sale on auction websites here and there. Some are from inside the U.S., and some are from Thailand. Do you guys think customs might seize an ariocarpus Texensis, or do people have a fairly high rate of import success? A friend of mine was talking to me today about importing one and it sounded to me like a very possible endeavor.

I'm just talking about ariocarpus, man.
Sounds great, thanks for the advice. Do you have any germination guides for seedlings?

Ariocarpus
Let me school you some. 'Popular auction site'? Ebay. I know that and many know that.
There is no Ariocarpus texensis. There isnt. Just googlw 'Ariocarpus' and you will find an immense variety and my localities.
Not trying to be a condescending asshole cause there are enough on here already.

ferrel is absolutely right. When I have sold peyote on eBay I have mis-named them Ariocarpus or the older 19th century name for the genus Anhalonium. EvilBay´s automatic checkers are programmed to reject the word LOPHOPHORA. But in the picture of the plant there is a plant label clearly marked Lophophora williamsii - so we are all clear what is being bid for.
But to answer your question I have sent peyote plants to the US many times. I have had one seized by customs once. I have sent seeds to people in the US many times as well - 100% success with them.
Plants from my seeds are growing all round the world - even in Oz, where the Customs are total fascists and open everything.
