Shmuvbox for spawn bags?

So I finally read about shmuvboxes and am pretty much sold, just had a question or two. You don't see much talk about using spawn bags/impulse sealers in them. Are they big enough to comfortably accommodate the spawning/sealing of a bag? Was wanting the ability to spawn sterilized substrates in bags and this seems like the cheapest effective method.
Are there any real drawbacks to using inflated plastic as a workspace as opposed to wood?
Also, do you ever need to replace the 55 gallon bag? That'd be kinda lame.

I have a shmuvbox but never use the shmuv...just the box. I will run the uv light on fresh poured agar plates though. You'll catch a bunch of shit on here for running one.
What you linked to looks like a major fucking hassle...just flip a clear tub over and make an SAB.

If you want to get into g2g'ing spawn bags you need at least a 2'x2' flowhood. If you just plan on using LC or spores you could get by without though. I would recommend making half gallon or quart sized Grain masters from agar and then going g2g into your bags.
Frank used to post pics of a little 420 grow tent he was using as a big SAB to g2g bags, but as far as I remember he never talked about how great his success rate was. He seemed to be having a lot of contamination problems right around the time he left and it wouldn't surprise me if cutting corners on the flowhood was to blame.

Oh do people get away with using LC/LI/slurries in bags? Would be nice to just empty 60 cc's from a syringe in an SAB, seal/shake and be done with it.

60 would be a lot of liquid to add to the grain imo. I did a few runs of blended agar LI and standard liquid cultures in bags a few years ago and found them to be slower to colonize than I would like, but it is doable. If you use a syringe to inoculate you don't need to open the bag, just wipe the injection site and cover with tape or hot glue. Make sure to inject above the level of the grain in the bag. Again I would recommend agar > Grain master > g2g for bags because it is the safest way to go about producing clean spawn.
