out foraging need ID pls- more photos 2 patches

Found a large number of this in a patch of mixed leaves almost mulched. Picked them and instantly bruising a greenish blue. Any idea?

Hygrocybe is likely and they are not active. Below is a key.

Not sure if the first and 2nd are the same.... Looking at the gills they look different. One is straight across and the first one dips down (forgot if that is called obtuse or its a different name for it.)

Yeah I don't think they're the same species, i think he just meant that they are both hygrocybes which they most definitely are.

Thank you for clarifying that, still interested if anyone can give a positive ID on these. Very interested in learning about identifying not just wether they are active.

Additionally, are they edible to cook with? Don't like to be wasteful of what I forage.

They are Hygrocybe as has already been stated. They are not edible.

Just read about the non-edibility. From doin some digging the first ones look like flavense and the 2nd like cholorphana also known as golden wax caps...

Would this be accurate given the description of the pileus and lamellae?
